The quality of the product is really good. Comes in a nice powder coated finish and the metal is heavy duty which gives you a nice steady feel. They give you free installation so don’t bother doing it on your own as it can take pretty long to do it if your not someone who can read instructions from a book. The instructions book is very precise though. Been using it for a few days and can handle heavy weight as well. Would definitely recommend it for a home gym. Very steady and strong. Once you go all the way to speed 32 it gives you a nice heavy feel as the machine is completely automatic. Only the calories isn’t exact but I just use a online calorie calculator with the time I’ve done.

I started facing issues with the machine from the first day of usage because of a loud creaking noise from its joints that was a disturbance to me and my neighbours. The technicians from PowerMax company kept visiting my place but could not resolve the issue. I began to suspect that the noise could lead to an unexpected breakage of joints but the PowerMax technicians reassured me that my reservations were uncalled for and that the machine would not fail or break. But, on the morning of 27th September 2024, just after using the machine for 6 months, the joint that had been making the noise snapped and I fell from the machine. It was only by a stroke of luck that the fall was not a more serious mishap.Though the manufacturer offered a replacement, I do not trust the machine and the brand any more as I can see that the quality of steel used is of inferior quality which caused the mishap. The joints gave way due to rusted low gauge steel. I purchased the cross-trainer to live a little longer but do not wish to end my life on the same machine and that too in my living room! I requested the manufacturer to take away the machine and refund the money but they refused to accede to my request and stopped attending my calls. This is the plight that the consumers are subjected to in this country.I do not normally write negative or positive feedback on products purchased from Amazon but thought it was my social responsibility to let the prospective buyers know about the quality of Powemax products. Please do not buy Powermax products, it can become fatal for you.Though the manufacturer decided to ignore my calls and block me, Amazon gave an empathetic hearing though they were not obligated to address my concerns and provided a commendable solution. Thanks to Amazon India and Global leadership for ensuring justice and prompt closure of the matter.

Easy to use and good service

This is my experience with the product after a few months:1. Provides only for partial range of motion - it feels like you started your stride, and then it got cut off in-between. Kind of a frustrating experience when you cannot complete your stride.2. Started creaking very loudly (drowns out the music) after 3rd use - YES - THIRD USE!!! (I am a petite 55 kg woman)3. No guidance has been provided to program in your details or to choose the programmed workouts. Have been asking them for a demo or demo video. No response.4. I logged a customer care request. Got a reply referring to some ticket - no ticket number provided for me to follow up.5. Logged another customer care request today. Again, no ticket number provided, but for follow up on my ticket, it is a must to have a ticket number. So I went ahead and registered myself and got a message that an email had been sent so that I could check my tickets. No email has come to me yet from Powermax today. This should be instantaneous. So don't know what is the problem.6. There is some customer service executive who keeps following up with me to put a feedback on the amazon page and share a screenshot that I have provided feedback. To which I replied that first get my issues resolved, then I will share feedback on Amazon. He completely ignores that bit and does not address my problems with the machine at all. Just keeps subtly bullying me to put a feedback on Amazon.I don't plan on buying any more powermax products again, though I need lots of products for my gym. Their customer care is indifferent and inefficient at best.I wish I had just bought the Decathlon one that costs the same. I would recommend to avoid this at all costs.
