I played the standard version during Keto Pa-Lou-za 2022 in Louisville Kentucky and enjoyed it immensely. My son's girlfriend is a very nice girl that enjoys Harry Potter, so I gifted her the Harry Potter version of the story blocks. I am looking forward to learning if she liked them. I was glad to see that the cubes still came in the square box, like previous editions, instead of that round tin that is shown in the photos. Also, this is a nice addition to the overall Story Cubes series.

Wife uses them for her therapy clients and they really enjoy them.

So component wise, these are ok. We have the actions one and I feel the engraving and feel of those dice were better.These dice are very HP specific and with that the stories won't be as open.Some of the symbols are also a little difficult to understand so we just make things up. There doesn't appear to be anything to show what the symbols represent.

The artwork style has changed for the worse, compared to other cubes in the series. What a shame. Whoever it was that quit or got fired on the design team, get them back! The images don’t match other Rory’s cubes in style, and too many in this set are completely indiscernible.

These cubes are so fun for the kids to use. I plan on getting more sets for them to use. They make up their own rules and play all different ways.
