Overall great natural look and convenient to work with.A few things to keep in mind if you plan to buy this -1. Their shape is very irregular - from the overall shape to the ring positioning. In a way it adds to the charm, but keep in mind it may make it a bit difficult to reproduce the same results on two different items.2. Thickness is pretty consistent though, so it helps if you plan to use these with a laser cutter/engraver.3. The outer layer (bark, I guess?) may chip and break off here and there, especially around where the ring hole is.4. If you do plan to have these laser-engraved, keep in mind the innermost ring (eye) will look significantly darker than its surroundings in the resulting etch.I hope this helps!

These are perfect! I’ve started making homemade candles and I bought these to use as gift tags. The paper gift tags were too large for the jars I bought, none of the paper tags were under 2”x2” so when I found these wooden pieces I thought it would be a great unique spin on my candles. I’m actually very happy I bought these because the jars that I purchased for my candles were a bit smaller than I anticipated... So if I did buy the 2”x2” paper tags then it would’ve looked ridiculous. The plan is to use a pyrograph tool to burn words onto the wooden pieces and then tie them around the jars lids with twine. The wooden pieces are pretty small so I need to master this whole pyrography thing before I make my candle tags... But that’s a whole different issue and worse comes to worst I will just have to use a sharpie and hand draw the words onto the wooden pieces. Anyway long story short these pieces are excellent. They’re exactly the size that I wanted, the thickness is perfect, and the size of the drill hole is perfect for the twine that I bought. I’m very glad I decided to go through with using these as gift tags.

I have ordered these before and they worked perfect for what I needed. I wood burn and sell these as keychains for my small business.This time around, the pre-drilled holes are nowehere near where they should be... I will not be able to use these for what they were intended for... there will be no way to fit a jump ring through the hole... the hole is not near the edge, the hole is near the center of the pieces of wood. I could understand if a few were messed up, but the entire package of 50 has been made defective. I am not sure if I can even use these, and I was counting on them for upcoming holiday orders. I am not sure if I would risk buying them again. I have a photo of the previously delivered product verses the new order to show comparison.

I just let Amazon know that the photos do not match the product. I have a whole bag of wood slices with the holes drilled 1/2" or more away from the edge. On the smallest ones, they are practically in the center! Thoughtless drill job, honestly. I do wood burning on such wood slices and normally buy undrilled, but these were the only smaller ones I could find at the time-- the picture does not represent where the holes are drilled. Totally messes up being able to compose art on them, plus when you add string to hang them, the string falls across quite a bit of the viewable area. Stupid.

If I could select 0 stars I would. Disappointed is an understatement. I've ordered these before through a different seller and gotten very large pieces. Most of these are barely 1.5 inches. I got maybe 8 or 10 that are closer to 2 inches. Also, this DOES NOT come with the string to go through the holes... most others you find, do. These are a waste of money. Spend a few dollars more and get the larger ones that come with a whole roll of string

Not uniform, but I’m totally okay with that. Good quality cuts, no splintery edges. Holes aren’t all in the same place on the discs. Some are almost in the center on the smaller ones.
