Great smart lock!
The Sifely Smart Lock is the Future of Home SecurityThe Sifely smart lock product is revolutionizing home security, making it easier and more secure than ever. With a sleek design, top-of-the-line technology, and a wide range of features, the Sifely Smart Lock is an ideal choice for those looking to keep their homes safe and secure. In this Sifely smart lock product review, we will explore the features and benefits of this impressive device and how it can help to enhance your home security.Product OverviewThe Sifely lock feels high quality in your hands. The device is heavy gauge steel with a plastic digital screen keypad, a biometric fingerprint scanner, RFID swipe keys, and custom emergency keys like you have never seen before. Emergency access is cleverly hidden and would not be easily guessed by a thief. One-time digital passcodes can also be issued, and an access log is accessible from the app that describes which code was used to gain entry, whether it be a biometric or RFID card, and who it is assigned to, along with the time and day stamp.InstallationInstallation is a breeze. Just remove your old lock and install the new one just like you would any other door lock. Only one wire is connected from one side of the door lock to the other. The system is self-contained and runs off of 4x AA batteries (not included). There are only about six total screws to install this device. Three screws for the keypad, two for the bolt, and two Allen screws for the actual door handle. The total time for a novice to install is about 10 to 15 minutes, of which you will probably spend 6 minutes looking at the instructions before you realize it is so simple you should have just started and guessed your way through. The door locks can only go together one way, so you must put in considerable effort to get it wrong. The biometric part is the same as installing a fingerprint on your cell phone through the app. Just assign a name, then tap the sensor with your finger and hit save. 30 seconds at most. The temporary numeric passwords are auto-generated and are also assigned a name by you and generate a text message you send to users that come complete with instructions and are only valid for the length of time and number of uses you assign. The RFID key cards are also simple; name the card and tap it on the keypad. It should take 10 seconds at most.Ease of UseSuper simple. No more wondering if you locked the door when you left the house or having to lug around another key. After you set it up, you can open the door lock with your fingerprint. The lock looks super slick, and everyone who sees me use it is always super impressed. Batteries last a good long while, and if you do have to replace them, there is only one small screw to remove.FeaturesDigital smart door lockPhone app access controlRFID key cards x 2 included.Unlimited biometric access (fingerprint)Unlimited temporary numeric passwords (user-dictated # of uses or length of time validation)Notifications when the door is opened to your phone (can turn on or off)Emergency alarm if wrong code or unregistered fingerprint is used too many timesEmergency shut down if the wrong code or unregistered fingerprint is used too many timesProduct reviewI have tried a great deal of these types of locks. Functionality varies greatly among manufacturers, and customer service is often times sketchy or nonexistent. I have to say my experience has been top-notch since day one. First, the packaging comes complete with all the parts the only two items you will need are a regular Phillips screwdriver (cross head) and 4 x AA batteries. I initially bought one for my front door about a year ago. Somehow the handle broke, and I wrote the manufacturer ( the contact email was right in the phone application). They responded within an hour or so to an email I sent, asking me to send them a picture of the bar code inside the battery cover and a picture of the damage, and within two days, I had a new door lock set at my front door!Amazing, no hassle, super quick, and very friendly. All along the process, they kept me informed of what they were doing when the new set was sent and gave me tracking truly exceptional service. The device feels very high quality with good heft, and the locks are very responsive and offer a ton of ways to control who, how, and when guests can access it, and the locks are very responsive. They auto-lock within a few seconds of unlocking, so you never have to be worried about someone coming into your home uninvited. One of the worst feelings is getting halfway to where you are going and having a feeling in your gut you forgot to lock the door. The application is very simple to use and has saved me a ton of times when I needed to give someone access to the house, like a family member or my housekeeper. I also like that you don’t have to give someone a permanent access code, although that is an option also. You can give the access code just for an hour or one access attempt. The price is very fair, and the quality is very good. I would buy it again.

Surprisingly good product for the price.
This product is well-made and offers dependable connectivity right through the app, which is also intuitive and very functional. Super easy to install and program, and I love the fingerprint reader. I strongly recommend this lock.

Have to carefully install
So when I first installed this item it would not open the door from the outside. I don't know why or what I was doing wrong but it wouldn't. I removed and reinstalled it a few times and same thing. I decided to try one more time and for whatever reason it worked perfect that time. Overall once installed and working I love it. It looks sleek and clean, it's easy to use with multiple ways of locking and unlockingand integrates google home easily also

Pretty Easy to Install
First off, please realize that you will likely have to relocate your deadbolt (if you have a deadbolt). This is pretty common with these smart handle locks because they're so tall they would bump into the deadbolt if you tried to install in the normal place. So make sure you can work with that.I thought the instructions were pretty easy to follow. If you have zero experience installing a door knob, you should probably watch a Youtube or two first just to get how it's supposed to work. The lock looks very nice. I appreciate that the battery and everything is located inside the house. The keypad does read when I push on it so that's cool.I liked that there were many different options to access the lock so you don't always have to worry about having internet or a dead battery or remembering a code or having the physical key or keycard, etc.I will say that it's a struggle to get the fingerprint reader to read sometimes. I've added myself twice to the unit so it should have an even better chance at recognizing me but sometimes it does take 7 or 8 tries to get in. THAT SAID: the lock gets SUPER hot in the afternoon due to the setting sun and perhaps the heat makes it less accurate. It's possible that it would read the fingerprint better if it wasn't boiling hot.I DO like the keypad but....you have to know it's there. If you don't know it's there, you wouldn't be able to tell. It just looks like a blank door knob. So you have to poke the area the keypad is in before the numbers light up. THEN you can use the keypad. Not a big deal but I'm not sure it will work great if you had an AirBNB or something because guests might not intuitively understand that they need to touch the blank handle before the numbers will light up.I also think it's weird that you can't lock the handle from the inside. Like, there's no button to do that, apparently? And when you want to lock the door after you leave, you have to hit the * symbol on the keypad (or I believe you can lock it from the app) which is fine but not exactly intuitive. So, again, if you had AirBNB guests, they'd have to read your instructions to lock the door and we all know people struggle to read instructions...lol.There IS an autolock feature which is great if it's your house and just you and the fam come in and out. But if you have AirBNB guests, I don't think the autolock option is ok to leave on because guests aren't going to memorize their codes and what if they get locked outside without their phone? They'd have no way to figure out what the code is OR any way to contact you. However, I do really like the lock and all the features so I would recommend buying it and giving it a try.Just one thing to note for those who care: you don't need WiFi to set up or use this lock. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth and once it's set up, you don't even need Bluetooth. Just use the fingerprint or keypad or keycard, etc. I believe you can set up the lock to work with WiFi but I believe you'd have to purchase a second gateway or something and plug it into your house and I don't have internet so.... yeah.

Too bulky compared to other smart lock
Too much bulky and we can’t lock the screen door. End up buying other smart door lock so better check the size.
