I was in search of a mermaid tail blanket for my Mermaid loving 5yr old twin girls for Christmas. I saw these and immediately loved that they weren't the cheap-o fleece/polyester junk you see everywhere. I was a little skeptical of the quality considering the price point, but thought I'd give them a try. They came vacuum sealed and upon opening they had a weird smell and were pretty rough and scratchy. I gave them a quick wash and OH.EM.GEE they transformed into these beautiful soft crocheted masterpieces! They are NOT heavy weight but are perfect for lounging on the sofa to keep covered. I love them so much that I actually bought one for myself! There are slits at the top and bottom of the tails that lay flat like a traditional blanket and the middle part is sewn together which gives your legs the perfect hug. No more having to wrap yourself up in a blanket.... the blanket is already wrapped for you! I can't say enough great things about this blanket!!! Not to mention the BEAUTIFUL colors! I bought the "green" (which is more like a beautiful teal color) and the blue and both are absolutely beautiful!!! The size is perfect for kids and yet still large/long enough for a full sized adult like myself! BUY THIS BLANKET!!!!

I am glad that I purchased this mermaid leg warmer blanket. The colors are vibrant and bring a pop in the room. The knitting is pretty well done that even today in 2024 it is still in good condition even when gently handwashing and airdry. I believe this order is one year old or two.

I gave it to my daughter who lives in another state and she said it’s quite big on her and this was advertised to fit young girls/kids. Other than that she likes it.

This is so fun, it’s a great gift for those mermaid enthusiasts. I got it for my coworker in purple and she loves it! It’s light in weight, so it shouldn’t make your washer go off balance.

This is a fine blanket BUT it does NOT look like the picture. The image makes it look like you can give it to an adult person as a gift but in real life it very much looks like something a kid would use. If you intend to get this for someone under the age of 14 then I would give it 4 stars, however I ended up returning it because there’s too much rainbow yarn woven in to the light blue. Also the material stretches but I don’t know how a human who isn’t under 5’4” would fit into this comfortably. Also the bottom is open!!! So your feet will be cold.I had also bought one for myself because I’ve always wanted a mermaid blanket and this was only $13, so was in the fence about returning this item. Then my friend called this the “ugliest thing he’d ever seen” so it’s going back lol

These came in a very compressed package and didn’t seemed, well, gift giving great. Washed them and they will be a nice gift, for my little mermaid friends. The back opens in a “V” to the fin, the top can be rolled down for smaller persons.

I love this item, I have searched Etsy, but Adult size is not in my budget, upwards of $200.00.(Handmade) I came across these by accident as I was looking for a Christmas quilt/blanket. Given the price point I was on the fence seriously $25.00 what could one expect?All I can say is WOW, this has been the BEST $25.00 I have spent in a long time. My tail arrived today, it was shipped in a box, and vacuumed sealed in plastic, well packed and protected from getting damaged. Honestly the colors are very close to what my computer shows as the colors, and the knitting/crochet style is as photographed. The sizing is correct, extra long with room to wrap up over shoulders. I like the open feet end, (I wont fall over if I forget I have it on). I have inspected my tail, and I can not find any flaws,no loose or missing stitches. The yarn has a nice feel, not itchy. I will be purchasing a couple more for Christmas gifts, they fit the budget, and are so on trend. Yes, I am pleased with this purchase.
