Easy to Assemble with Tips
I recently added this rotating drafting table to my workspace, and it has quickly become a must-have. As someone who does a variety of tasks—sketching, drafting, and occasional crafting—the versatility of this table has truly impressed me. Design & Quality: This table is not only practical but also a beautiful piece of furniture. The wood is of high quality, and the satin finish adds an elegant touch. Its smooth rotating surface allows me to easily adjust angles during long projects without having to constantly reposition myself. Plus, the rotation can be locked in place, which is crucial for more precise work. Adjustability: The adjustable height and tilt are perfect for a range of tasks. I can set the table at an ideal angle for drawing or tilt it back to a flat surface for cutting and other activities. Despite the adjustments, the table remains very stable and doesn’t wobble, even at its maximum height. Assembly: Though it’s a solid, heavy piece, I managed to assemble it by myself (and I’m 66 years old!). The process took about an hour. The instructions were clear, and all the tools were included. The only challenge was making sure I took my time with the heavier parts, but it was overall a smooth experience. Pro Tips for Assembly: Make sure not to tighten the screws on the rotating bars until both sides are properly slotted in, or the bar won’t align with the screws. Take care to secure the rotating mechanism tightly to avoid any minor shifts during use. Keep the surface clean, as dust can interfere with the smooth rotation. Consider pairing it with a height-adjustable chair for maximum comfort and ergonomic alignment. In summary, this rotating drafting table is a fantastic investment for artists, designers, and crafters. It’s not only functional but also a stunning addition to any creative workspace!

Best of Class in every category!
Aside from this being a beautiful piece of furniture, every aspect of its design, manufacture and functionality, is superb as follows: - the quality of all components is top. - the accuracy of all dimensions and fits is perfect—assembly was problem free. - the table is more rigid than they claim. - the table height and tilt are adjustable. - every component came wrapped or padded, there was no damage or scratching. - a quality screw driver and Allen wrench were included and no more was required. - the illustrated manual was intuitive and left nothing unexplained. - the feet are glides that slide on hard surfaces or rugs equally well. *** …if you sit in a recliner, the leading edge of this table will slide forward to reach your lap so you can write without reaching. *** …I’m on crutches and practically live in my recliner, but I can slide the table back, stand and easily walk away. (And yes, I’m a calligrapher and retired manufacturing engineer, so I know all this stuff…you can trust my independent and honest review—this truly is a great product!)

Excellent product
Impressive quality! The drawing table came broken down in a flat box; assembly required. Each wood part was contained in a bubble wrap bag of the correct size for the part. Hardware came grouped in packages for the specific assembly step. All materials (wood, metal, hardware) were of very good quality. Wood finish is consistent and attractive. Assembly instructions were easy to follow and the assembly process was simple. Once assembled, I expected the table would be unstable on my carpeted floor; it was rock solid. The table surface appears to be smooth; I have not used it, yet. The T square head is loose; only held on with 3 screws. It's fixable but the edge of the t square head was slightly bowed and rocked when trying to draw a line. The table edge that the t square rides against is not perfectly straight. I would advise buying a t square with a much wider head than the one provided. If you've assembled some of the DIY furniture or shelves made with particle board, you know some of the pitfalls of putting them together. My drafting table had no pitfalls. Very pleased with this purchase!

Not Bad for the Price
I purchased this table as a Plan B for another item that sold out. I'm satisfied with it and I believe that its quality is congruent with its pricing. I did not chose the set with the adjustable wooden stool, as I already have a stool I prefer. The things that are important to me in a drafting table are: stability/no wobble, wood or melamine surface/no glass, does not slip out of adjustment, and that it's easy to move. This table was simple to put together. It came with very clear diagrams and well-labeled components. Tools provided are a small phillips head screwdriver and and small hex key. It took about 30 minutes for me to assemble the table start-to-finish. The components for this table came wrapped in bubble wrap, which protected it for most part. I did find a little cosmetic damage during assembly. There are a few small dings and scratches in places like the H-stand and the back of the table. These are not easily noticed unless someone inspects every inch of the table. All the cosmetic damage that I found looks easy to repair with some stain and wood putty. None of the damage affects the drawing surface. During use, the table is very steady. It takes a good bump to wobble it. I found the adjustments held firmly, though the tightening knobs take quite a bit of turning to get them set. When adjusting the table for the first time, you might want someone to help you 'float' the tabletop until you set your stand height. You can adjust the table height by yourself, it just takes a little bit of bother. It's easy for one person to adjust and lock the angle. As I stated in an earlier paragraph, I got what I paid for. This is not an $1500 drafting table, but it still makes a good basic entry-level table. The T-square is more for looks than use. If you use a T-square for your work, you'll probably prefer a metal one. Keep in mind that this table is made more as a piece of furniture than a utility table. If you are buying this as an art student or someone going off to college; it will require more TLC to protect it from damage. The table top and angle hoops are simple to remove from the base. The table top and base are compact enough that they can be wrapped with quilts and put into the back on an SUV without completely disassembling it. Because it's wood, you also want to protect the table top from cracks and warping. If well cared-for, I expect this table should last a long time.

Things to be aware of with this p;roduct
This product was the perfect size for where it needed to go (I have a small place). There were some difficulties assembling it. First, it was packaged beautifully and the hardware is very nicely labeled. It could have been better labeled with the hardware packages indicating which hardware goes with the stool and which goes with the board. Instead, you get two packages labeled A, B, C, etc, and hopefully you will know which goes with which. It comes with a screwdriver and the other implement needed to assemble. Problem is, that the holes in the metal hinges do not match the screws! The screws are too big to go through the holes in the metal hinges. Thank goodness I had some other screws at home that I could use that fit the space. I was not about to redrill the metal hinges it came with nor try to repackage the board and manage to get it back to a place to return it. The package would have never fit in my car and very heavy and awkward to lift. Secondly, I had to redrill the holes on the wooden pieces for several of the screws as they would not go in all of the way into the wood without stripping the heads. I was able to do that and even then, it was a snug fit, (I ended up assembling it mostly with my drill and its attachments). Even with my drill, I had problems getting the screws to tighten. The round metal part which tilts the drafting board up and down, I was never able to get the one of the screws and washer into the metal slot to hold it. I don't plan on moving the drawing area at different angles, so it is sturdy the way that I have it with the one screw, in only one of hinges and none in the second hinge. Something to know if you plan on using the drafting table and tilting the drawing surface up and down, The red paint also chips off very easily. It was partially chipped off the corners, sides, etc., when it arrived. I purchased it with the stool thinking I might use it. I don't and use a more comfortable chair instead. So, other than being uncomfortable, I can't really comment on the stool. It does go up and down nicely, however. As far as assembly goes, it wasn't too bad but it took me about 3 hours to put everything together. I did it by myself without help, but it would be faster and probably easier if two people assemble it. I had to hunt for screws that would fit the metal hardware and couldn't go to the store as it was Thanksgiving morning and none would have been open, so that took extra time as well I am 70 years old female and was able to piece it together, so it can be done! All in all, I do really love working on the table (I am back in school taking Landscape Architecture courses) and desperately needed this work surface for my homework. I wish the parts actually fit the hardware that was included and I wish I could figure out how to get that second screw to fit on the tilting mechanism for this board. There are only two hinges that tilt the drawing board, so only having one assembled correctly makes me a wee bit nervous.

Awesome Table
This table is gorgeous, built like a tank. Solid, heavy, and sturdy. My only gripe is that the tilt is limited to only a few positions, determined by the threaded holes in the metal bars, making fine adjustments between "mostly flat" and "mostly tilted" positions impossible—unless you do something like what I did with clamps. I will eventually settle on a preferred tilt angle, then drill and tap new holes. But don't let this hold you back. It is a beautiful and elegant table.

Received damaged item
Here goes my first review on Amazon. I bought this item recently, and I received the item yesterday. The desk is partially broken. The overall Look of the item is elegant. But beware that the items will be partially broken. I previously read reviews calling out the item was broken, but given it was one or two reviews I still went ahead and bought it. But now my experience is the same as others. I would only recommend buying this item if you’re OK living with a partially broken item

DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS HERE
My father is a portrait artist, working mostly with charcoal, pencil and oil pastels. I purchased this drafting table as a gift for him. These are his comments- “ I am extremely satisfied with this table. Quality wise- it’s sturdy, firm and made from good, strong wood. It’s a reasonably nice piece of furniture. I found it quite easy to assemble. I followed the instructions and had the complete table assembled within 15 minutes. For a minute during the assembling of the table I got a little frustrated as I thought that the seller had forgotten to enclose an Allenkey with the screws and bolts, and was ready to freak out, but then discovered the Allen key in a plastic bag with the other screws. The angle of the table is easily manageable by opening the bolts holding the table at the particular angle needed. Two bolts on either sides, underneath the tabletop are needed to be opened in order to allow the table top to move vertically. I spent a great deal of time reading the reviews of the various drafting tables that are offered on the Amazon website. After making my decision to purchase this particular table, I was still a little apprehensive and nervous, in view of the negative reviews that I had read previously. Truthfully, I never pay attention to the positive reviews, only to the negative ones. Bottom line- I found most of the 1 star reviews here to be petty. This is is a nice table and does the job! I can recommend it”
