In love with this. It looks so good I totally recommend it. I used it for internal door to the storage where my cat's litter box is and it is perfect. I used a carpenter to cut the door but the installation itself once the provision on the door is made, is super easy. I recommend this for internal doors 100%

Ordered two from Amazon Australia knowing this was a USA product but thrilled when it arrived in less than two weeks. Couldn’t be more pleased with the cat doors. Brilliantly designed and constructed, right down to the door open holder having a self adhesive backing to help you position it before screwing to the door. We have 5 cats of varying sizes and only our enormous Tom has so far refused to use it. Suitable for all sizes up to “I’m really a large raccoon” cat. Installation is very easy and, beyond needing a jigsaw and a screwdriver, the hardest part is taking your doors off their hinges to make it easier to work on them. Our doors are typical “budget” hollow panel doors with a wooden frame and cardboard packing and the design of the cat doors works well even with non-solid doors as the bottom screws on each side go into the wooden frame. Where (and if) the top screw is simply going through a thin moulded panel just tighten slowly and gently. There’s no need to torque it up with any of the fixings. The recessed screw holes; the soft rubber hole plugs; the open door holder …. everything is just so well thought of. It might only be a plastic cat door but it’s such a pleasure to buy and receive something that is so well designed and works without customisation. Well done to Lisa and her team. I hesitate to add feedback in case it’s taken as criticism (because it isn’t) but the cut-out template - another great idea and much better than trying to draw around the inside of the door - creates a hole that’s very generous so be careful not to cut outside your marker line or you’ll have no door left to screw into. You can cut slightly inside the marker line and still have ample room. The second “warning” is that the new door frame fits with a flange that sits butted against the bottom of the door so it is not entirely flush with you door’s bottom edge. So, you’ll need to be sure that your door has a 2-3mm gap between it and your flooring but most do anyway unless you’ve later added carpet or tiles that fill that gap. I can’t be more pleased with our doors. If you like the look of them and are considering buying, don’t hesitate!
