Frustrating Faucet!! Nothing but problems.
After having 4 of these Faucets installed in a remodel 6 years ago, I would never do these again. Results: CON- They eat batteries up! 3 months is the longest. You have to disassemble the faucet, because the batteries are inside at the very top. In replacing the batteries, we have damaged the extremely delicate sensor wires twice, beyond repair. Ever wave you hands under, expecting water, and nothing happens? This is constantly the problem. You might as well be on a parade float waving to the crowd, before this POS operates. Or you get 1/2 second of water and then nothing more. The sensors or crap. We have replaced all of them at this point, at $140 each. One solenoid has been replaced at $120. The spay is so fine, but so hard, that it sprays water all over the counters and they are constantly wet. It makes a mess. They are unpredictable in operation, and they shut the water supply off too soon with soap still on your hands.PRO: They are heavy chrome plated brass. The metal body is awesome and the finish has no flaws, and after multiple daily cleaning, show no wear at all. They have a solid mounting base. It does look good, and has plenty of space under in the lavatory for hands, and it extends over into the bowl.

Nice, but not perfect.
I bought mine a really good price $30, but would not pay normal prices. I also have a Zern motion activated faucet. The Zern seems more sensitive, I have to wave my hands a bit more for the Symmons. I do like the temperture control on the Symmons which is right on top. The Symmons also has a higher clearence to the sink which is nice. Neither faucet work with a popup drain. The Zern seems a bit better on battery life, I am replacing the Symmons battery after about 6 months of light use.
