I am not gonna lower my rating because of lack of instructions because I was finally able to get it to work. Make sure your OBD scanner has batteries. I did not know the older OBD1s will power on the device.

I took a chance that this kit would work with my Zurich zr13 scanner(Harbor Freight unit made by Innova).and guess what..it worked! I tried it with my 1995 Ford and 1986 Oldsmobile.I didnt get a lot of info but still able to retrieve trouble codes and some other limited data.It's a good buy.
