the handle was real thin making it hard to use with gloves on. I had no problems locking onto different size pots. They seemed firm and steady, they did not flex under use. the shape seem to barely fit my cook system, a little rearranging inside was all I needed to get them in. Thanks

Cutting out the weight of a multi tool is helpful in reducing overall weight.

Very light, useful bit of gear with the Vargo bot.

Little flimsy, just have to get used to them. Have the Hot Pot Thomas Aluminum ones that this will be replacing.

This broke before I got to use it. I'm glad it did. If it broke when picking up a pot I might of had a worse day than receiving a poor item. The pin and bar holding it together is terrible and not titanium. It is very flimsy. It bends opening and closing without even griping a pot. Seller wants me to go to ups store to return. I don't have the time. Even if this cost $5.00, I would not buy it. It is worth less. I might try to fix it by making a piece on my buddies lathe or just get a small threaded bar with nuts on each side. Probably will just end up throwing it away or toss it with all my other junk.

I want a very light weight set of equipment to facilitate proper cooking of proper food when hiking and camping ... I just don't want to carry much weight so this is a great addition which I'd recommend.

I initially reviewed this product a year or so ago and thought it was pretty good. But since then I’ve read several online, supposedly professional reviews, claiming it was flimsy, had a poor grip and was ridiculously expensive.So I went out and bought the cheaper alloy models they recommended. …..My pots and pans are a mixture of Toaks titanium and 20 year old Zebra stainless steel. Zebra is based in Thailand. MSR Alpine™ Stowaway Pots look exactly the same and Zebra probably supplies them.So the Vargo potholder gives a strong grip on any of these that is impossible to accidentally drop or spill - full or empty !! It will do the same for any lipped pot or pan.The alloy ones that supposedly were a better alternative? I found them big, clunky and a poor fit.I’ve ordered two more Vargos directly from the company in USA just to have extras for a backup cooking kit. Can’t have too much of a good thing.

Buen producto funcionalmente cumple con su proposito, sujeta muy bien los utensilios del set de cocina para camping, pero lo observo muy delgado, lo cual me imagino es referente a que estos productos deben ser livianos por la cuestion del pesoo en la mochila, dandole un buen uso y cuidandolo seguramente durará por buen tiempo

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen! Die Zange ist sehr unbequem und weicher als aus Alu. Den Preis verstehe ich auch nicht: Ist die aus Gold?
