I used a Sony a6100 with a Camlink 4K on my PC for years, and it worked without any issues. After switching to a MacBook M3 Max for work and connecting this setup to a dock station, the Camlink 4K started having issues with flickering, occasional green frames, and an overall unpleasant experience. It only worked properly when directly attached to the MacBook. I decided to try this capture card, which works perfectly through the dock station - no freezes or flickering.

Perfect for my purposes. This device truly is plug and play. No special procedures to get back up and running after the old device quit on me.

I've been using the product for a couple of years, and to date, it is working well.

This does work with a Nikon D7500. I use it with OBS and an Azden SMX-30 mic to livestream to Facebook and get excellent audio and video. By recording to a laptop instead of the camera I can exceed the 30 minute limit Nikon imposes on recording!

I asked if it would work with Canon SL2 and they answer it wouldn't matter as long I have the right cables. I bought it and it did not work. The screen is either black with a "no video" message or it works for less than a minute sand then turn black again. The tech support does not help at all. I am returning it very frustrated.

Works pretty good just can't play fps games with it. Other than that it's great!

Bought this to replace a CamLink 4K that seems to constantly have issues and this thing has been rock solid. Picture quality is great, plugging it in works every time, always shows up in my apps. The camlink also has issues with Thunderbolt 4 docks and M2 Macbook pros, and this does not have that issue. The part I like the most is that the box isn't a USB dongle that hangs off the computer or USB hub. This is a nice little box you can mount under your desk and run your wires to. USB c is a huge benefit too.

Working seamlessly with my Fuji mirrorless Camry.. very easy setup and value for money. Avermedia could have supplied mounting hardware or inbuilt screw it mount to fix it on camera or jig.
