Bought these for trimming my dog's beard. A terrier mix, it often tends to get into his food bowl if not trimmed away. Scissors cut cleanly. Did not pull or dull on dog's beard so I would judge them as comfortable to use, a balanced weight, good design,and great value for price. I expect Rust Resistance but I don't expect any problems as they are stainless steel.
