Fun math toy/tool for building and learning numbers
I purchased this as a fun, educational toy for my three year old. It turns out, this is more than just a tool to learn numerical and mathematical concepts. For example, you can build towers, mazes and obstacles with the ones, tens, and hundreds pieces. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.The quality of the plastic is very good. Smooth and consistent quality - no rough corners or edges really. As mentioned above, you can build a decent sized tower of a few feet in height, though it will fall down rather easily. It comes with ziplock bags for each size of block, which helps with storage.At age 3, my son isn’t quite ready to grasp the numerical concepts, but I hope he continues to have fun with this and eventually can then better visualize what 1, 10, 100, and 1000 really represent.Though I am not a teacher, it seems like this toy is a must-have for all early elementary classrooms to help kids see and feel numerical quantities. Or, at the least, the kids could have fun through open-ended play using these as building blocks.

Bought these to help my son this summer get ready for 2nd grade and they are perfect and just what I was expecting! Very sturdy and my son loves them! Worth it! It helps my son WANT to learn math with me this summer!

Huge help with school work!
This helped my 6 year old immensely. He uses the tactile blocks that you attach like Legos at school -n- that distracts him too much. These are easy to use -n- move around as needed -n- keeps him focused.

I had to find stuff that is more to teacher materials so kids had an easier way of understanding their homework. So works very well.

Great tools to teach the base ten numbers!
Just what we needed to help with teaching ones, tens, hundreds, thousands. I got 2 sets which really helps with practicing big numbers. Local school uses the same set, so perfect to have one at home to reinforce lessons.
