This is meant to be filled into capsules, or as a tonic herbal tea wash. This wasn't meant to be mixed with juice or water. We Asians have always known how awlful this taste like due to the high concentration of tannins. This is excellent for the urinary tract, as it totally cured my antibiotic resistant Urinary Tract Infection and gave me relief from day one. I'm only giving it a four, because it wasn't so effective in one other function I used it for. This is the second type of herbal powder I purchased from Bixa brand, and both are satisfactory in their potency. AAA++
