Great product and a great company! I wanted a silicone straw for my morning coffee, which is contained in a 16oz Contigo travel mug with a relatively tall lid. I had bought a set of Koffie Straws, but they were too short and so soft that they sometimes collapsed in on themselves during use. I had tried stainless steel straws, but they burn the lips and I don't like hitting my teeth with metal. Silicone is much better.Before these Hot Sips for Thirsty Lips were available, I contacted the seller about the date they'd be available. I heard back right away, and I even got an email alert as soon as they were available (great reminder!). The seller even offered to give me a custom set of colors because I wanted all Aqua colored straws. I was already impressed with their customer service.When they arrived (which was quickly), they came packaged in a very nice, small container that I can keep in my purse. And they arrived with a second container with 4 sample straws in the company's other two sizes, in pink and aqua. What a nice surprise!!!I am so very impressed with these straws. They are quite a bit firmer than others on the market, so they don't collapse when you're drinking, even if you're drinking a very hot beverage. They fit perfectly in any to-go coffee cup lid, and they even just fit into my Contigo mug, which has quite a small opening (same shape as a to-go coffee cup lid).The Aqua color is really pretty, and so is the pink (pink only in the shorter straws). The Aqua ones do seem to stain a bit with my coffee, but I don't care because I just keep that same side of the straw in the coffee so nobody can see it. I'd much rather stain my straw than my teeth (which is why I use a straw).The straws do have a bit of a taste at first, so make sure you wash them well before use.My only suggestions for improvement would be to expand the color selections and to consider designing a version with an angle, like a bendy straw.This is a great product and a great business. I'm happy I found them!!!

These are great! Not round, somewhat flat, sturdy, great straw for cold or hot coffee, love the 2 sizes!

Will be using these straws on my trip to Vietnam. Videos watched mentioned not to drink straight from a bottle or a can. You don't know how those were stored, so that's why i got these. They mentioned just ask for a cup. But don't want to make a bother. The straws are bendable so you can pack it in a small case and just rinse out with bottle water after use. I like it because you can even drink Hot beverages too.

I use my 16 ounces Continuo leak-proof travel mug for my hot Chai Latte every day. I always unscrew the lid to drink from the bottle because cleaning the lid isn’t easy. Unscrewing the lid every time to take a sip though is a little aggravating because moisture drips and if I’m in a car and taking a sip when the driver steps on the gas . . . Well I end up wearing my drink. That’s not bad if it’s water but not so good with hot tea. I tried using a regular plastic straw but that didn’t work with my travel mug. I’m so glad I found this silicone straw because it fits into my Contigo mug perfectly and there’s no more messy accidents or drips. Of course with the straw in the mug there can be leaks if you knock your mug over but that’s not a problem for me. The cleaning brush that came with the straws is so much better than what I had.

These are sturdy silicon reuseable straws. I bought these because I drink a fair amount of coffee and it stains my teeth. These straws are awesome, I just wish they were a touch longer. They just fit my 16 oz tumblers. They are harder silicone than my straws for cold drinks and do pass the pinch test. I love them.Update: I’ve owned these straws for over a year now and we’re about to throw them out. I loved them a first but due to the slightly flattened shape they are hard to clean. I’ve noticed mildew forming in a few of them and had to throw those out. Keep an eye on them if you buy them. They may mildew because to have a hard time fully drying.

These reusable straws are just what I was looking for! I recently had my teeth whitened. I am now acutely aware of what I am eating and drinking. Although, I don't drink soda, I do drink coffee and tea. I have stainless steel reusable straws which work fine for cold liquids... not so much for hot drinks.I love that the oval like shape (instead of circle. It just feels better (who knew?!) The flexibility and temperature control are spot on. I can shift my straw in such a way to help navigate my drink away from my front teeth completely. I also like that it comes in a variety of sizes. I was looking for the small ones. I like the medium as well and intend to buy the large. For cleaning, if you have a straw cleaning brush already, that should work. I've had no problems so far.
