Light Weight & Perfect Size
I have a kayak that has an elevated seat so the 230 paddles felt too short. This one is a tiny bit longer and it felt great on the water. I think it is USA made and it is a good price. It is actually lighter than my other brand carbon fiber paddle. I bought the red one and the colors are bright and vibrant. I am happy with this purchase.

Nice firm paddle, convenient as it splits in two for storage

Lightweight
Best carbon fiber paddle I found for the price. Lightweight and feels solid. Great for those looking for an upgrade without breaking the bank.

Very light and feels sturdy
Only drawback is water drip despite drip stoppers on each end. Paddle is very light and feels sturdy

Worked well and looks nice
Nice paddle. Worked well on a long trip in the Fall. Looking forward to getting a lot of good use out of it later this year. I wanted one that was mid range in price. This did the trick.

Best Carbon Paddle for the Price
I've really enjoyed this paddle. It's light and the weight savings translates to easier paddling and less fatigue at the end of the trip. This is my 2nd year with the paddle and for the price, it's absolutely the best paddle out there. I get good thrust and speed with this paddle. Wish it came in a 160cm size, because I've got one kayak that is 36" wide and I'm over 6' tall, but the 250cm does the job. Get it, you won't regret it.Disclaimer: My kayaking is on slow rives and lakes, so I can't speak about how this would be for an active rocky river.

Yes It is Carbon Fiber. Yes it is lighter than Aluminum. I plan to buy another.
I ordered this paddle and a $39.99 premium Aluminum paddle at the same time. When I put both on a gram scale this one comes in aroung 920g (about 2 pounds) and the Aluminum paddle was just over 1100 grams (about 2.5 pounds). It is lighter but it is not a 50% weight reduction. If you hold both in your had it feels lighter but not a ton lighter. In the water this paddle was clearly better. While both paddles had very similar black nylon tips and both paddles break down into two pieces this paddle feels like it is all one piece when I paddle. When paddling with the aluminum paddle their is stress on the joint, it feels like two separate pieces as when force is applied to the paddle there is a small amount of wobble in the joint. I am not a professional kayaker and cannot justify spending $200.00 to $300.00 on a top of the line Cabon Fiber paddle. I carefully inspected the inside and outside of the paddle to see if this was just a sticker on top of an aluminum pole as one reviewer suggested. That is certainly not the case. I suspect that one star review is a fake negative review. I am impressed with this paddle. In my opinion it was worth the extra $50 to $60 above the price of an aluminum paddle. I plan to buy another one of these for family outings.
