Saving me a boatload of money on pouches
This kid is about to eat me out of house and home with his pouch obsession. It's absurd the number he'll eat in a day, especially if he isn't feeling good and doesn't want 'real' food. With these reusable ones, I can make my own, healthier smoothie blends. And it's saving me SO much money! In a pinch if I don't want to make a smoothie, I have a big jar of apple sauce and fill it up with that, and it satisfies his craving for a pouch. (especially at night for midnight snacks)They're easy to fill and pretty easy to clean. Hardest part to get clean is the spout and the lid. Perk is that is is just like the disposable ones, so he doesn't know the difference- I was scared the silicone ones would be too different. It can be really hard to get the lid cleaned out though so be aware of that. Imagine cleaning your disposable pouch.Overall, highly recommend

Just the Best
I've used a few different brands for food pouches over the last several years, but none of them work as well, fill as easily, fit as much volume, or are as easy to clean as these ones! My baby refuses to eat bananas or apple, which are in pretty much every food pouch you can purchase, and besides, it is so much more cost effective to just make my own from scratch. I bake a large sweet potato until soft, blend it with a TBSP of coconut oil, a fresh avocado, and about 12 oz water in the food processor, and it becomes a creamy, healthy pouch that lasts in the fridge a couple days. (Unless baby is very hungry!) If I had extra packs, I could whip up a whole bunch to freeze for later, since they're also freezer-safe!They are excellent for travel. I just throw a pouch or two in the diaper bag before leaving the house. They never leak! The orange funnel make filling so much easier. I rinse them out as soon as baby is finished and stick them in the dishwasher, or grab the bottle brush to scrub by hand. So far, so staining, either! (Some of these pouches are ones I've been using for six years and finally just bought more to replace the brands I don't like!)Worth every penny!

Minor pain major convenience
1-5-24 review:Just about to order yet another set (for our family). So I thought I should update this review real quick. My 5 year old blows through her smoothies like a champ thanks to these pouches.I looked up my original order. We've been using these pouches since summer of 2020. I've only thrown away TWO (out of the 20 pouches we use) that were unusable due to food getting under the plastic, behind the seal.If you have a sprayer on your sink, using that with warm/hot water really gets most of the pouch rinsed well. (Sometimes I'll soak mine in the soapy dish tub before they go to the dishwasher just to get anything remaining.)I'm about to buy a 3rd set for us so I can easily double batch the smoothies. I'm just blown away how well they've held up after nearly 4 years!Definitely more than worth the cost and minor maintenance to me!9-1-22 review:So seeing as I guess this is my FOURTH time ordering these pouches I figured I ought to leave a review.Love:- portable, nutritious food for my kid- typically pretty good at holding contents without leaks. Not perfect with straight up liquids in my experience.- easy for my toddler to use and feel independent- compact storage- they hold a decent volumeDislike:- as mentioned above, had some issue with leaking. Had to store in a Ziploc to prevent spills onto other stuff. Since using for thicker smoothies and storing with zipper closure up I haven't noticed any problems.- my kid went through a biting all the straws phase and split some of (all?) the openings. They still seem to seal okay, but it'd be nice if there were no splits possible in the plastic. Gross can get in there.- (after many, many uses) some of the plastic layers appear to be separating. I know these aren't forever, but just one of those things I notice. If you're looking for something to pass on to others when you're done, these pouches may not work. I don't really care about that on these but other things that *should* last.- they hold quite a bit but are somewhat tough to get the contents out without an adult's help to push them up toward the opening. Only really frustrating for me because I weigh out powdered vitamins to go in each batch. They're not cheap. So I'm always trying to get every last bit out. Not a deal breaker for what these deliver at $1/each roughly.Obviously, I recommend the Baby Brezza pouches. I've given them as gifts to other moms who want to make food for their kids. God only knows you can't trust what big companies are trying to feed them! The little extra work I do gives me peace of mind. Our vitamin recipe, if you're interested:1. Fill 32 oz. jar with frozen, organic berries (thank you, Costco!).2. Put jar in fridge overnight to thaw when vitamin smoothie making day is coming up.3. Add to jar: 1 whole avocado (peeled and pitted, obviously), probably a half cup or so of cottage cheese (we use Daisy 4%), and 4 level scoops of ANRC Essentials Plus powder. (Not autistic, but ped recommended for brain development during speech delay. Vitamins AND minerals. My kid hates veggies so.. this helps.)4. Blend with immersion/stick blender. Bought the Vitamix one - I'm a fan now too.5. Get tare weight of empty jar on digital kitchen scale. Weigh full jar. Divide by eight. Tare weight pouch with filling funnel. Fill with whatever number I got times 8 pouches.6. Give a pouch to my eager 30 pound munchkin 3 times a day, and I don't worry (as much) that she's not getting nutrients.7. Rinse out and stretch pouch over 3-4 prongs on dishwasher top rack, and toss caps in the lower basket with lid.8. Repeat!Hope that helps someone!

Worth The Trouble to Clean
Not gonna lie, I think these are a pain to clean because food gets trapped in the creases. Without the opening on the long side (instead of the short) I would upgrade it to nearly impossible, so this is a great design. I use a tiny bottle brush and a lot of patience. As soon as a pouch is emptied, I rinse it and soak it in soapy water until I’m ready to clean it.BUT it is totally worth it to be able to prepare “smoothies” for my 16 month old daughter, which is the easiest way to get her to eat veggies. The latest concoction was: half a crown of broccoli, two carrots, half a cucumber, half a zucchini, two huge handfuls of spinach, two bananas, a can of pumpkin purée, and a little coconut milk to thin it out. Basically, whatever I have on hand goes into the blender.Filling the pouches is a breeze. The little funnel is very helpful and the pouches stand independently. The seals are great - nothing has leaked in the six months I’ve been using them. After they are filled, they go into the freezer! I pull them out a day or two ahead of time and leave them in the fridge to thaw. I’m considering getting a second set since we go through them so quickly…
