I've been a fan of Montreal's based Andre Gagnon since 1974. For me he is simply the best piano composer of romantic music still alive. Every melody, every note is always in place. You cannot listen and not feel being moved. It's style is unique and uncompromised. He's a combination of Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin along with his own personal style. He likes to use strings, specially cellos (unlike the commonly used violins and violas). Check all its discography. He has been around for a while and has made more than 25 recordings. His christmas album "Noel" is a gem.

I found "Andre Gagnon" CD had a long time. In our country much program use "Andre Gagnon" music to background. Let it becomes beautiful and beautiful in program . I am poor at English. Hope everyone can know my mind.

i first discovered Andre Gagnon's beautiful music almost 20 years ago, and have been a passionate fan of his ever since. Is very difficult to get his music here in the United States, most music stores here don't import music from Canada for some reason. This CD is very good however some of his music which was recorded several years ago is incredible. I would urge you to please do two things, import as much of Andre Gagnon's music as you can(I will be faithful purchaser, I can assure you). Secondly have a sound system so people can sample music, it would be very helpful to me in making a decision to purchase music, especially if I don't know about an album, or artist.

私の大好きな椎名誠さんが、昔モンゴルの素敵な映画を作られました。何度見ても素晴らしい映画ですが、その映画バックにアンドレギャニオンさんの音楽が流れていて、一発で大ファンになりました。土曜日や日曜日に、ＣＤをかけながら家の中の片づけをしていると、心が洗われる気がします。
