EcoAquaReplacement Filter, Replacement for Jura® Clearyl/Claris Blue Capresso® Clearyl Coffee Machine Water Filter, Pack of 6

Seems to work okay on the water, but the 'filter' code does not disappear from the screen...

WARNING: These filters are not CLEARYL Blue and incompatible with US Jura machines!I bought this box of filters thinking it was a great deal. Per the advertisement, these are compatible with Jura Impressa c60.Turns out these filters cause your Jura machine to cycle from open switch—>to close—>to rinse. After this cycle completes, you will be able to brew 1 cup of espresso/coffee. When ready for subsequent cup(s) of espresso/coffee, the annoying useless cycle will repeat over and over.I couldn’t figure out why this cycle was occurring, so I contacted Jura directly. After troubleshooting the issue with Jura, it was explained to me that this cycle occurs when filters NOT specifically designated CLEARYL blue are used.Caveat emptor!

The manual for my Jura E8 says to use "CLEARYL Smart" filters. I decided to try these EcoAqua filters instead due to the much cheaper price. These filters do indeed fit in the E8 machine, and the Jura extension fits them with no trouble, however, the machine does not recognize that a filter has been installed. I decided to just run a full reservoir of hot water through the system to rinse the new filter. I then turned off "Use Filter" on the machine and will just manually remind myself to switch out the filter every 2 months. Worth the savings, in my opinion!

This is not the same as the CLEARYL Blue filter cartridge. The outlet hole is lot smaller than in the original one and their picture (#1) here is misleading on that too. This filter seems to be working on my Jura A1 machine but during pumping the water my machine sounded differently. It sounded like water pump had to apply more pressure with this filter.Bottom line: I've decided to return these filters because I was afraid to damage my Jura machine.
