My grandson LOVES this toy. He's naturally crazy about trains and watched Thomas on YouTube. The practicality of this product is well thought out. The storage container is actually used in the layouts you can build. Nothing is wasted. Everything fits back into the storage container. Some might say the downside is that no trains come with this version. That's because it's an expansion pack. We already have tracks, cars and engines. It's to be expected. Another big plus is there are more than one design you can make with this set. All the parts are compatible with other Thomas and Friends kits. So you can make a pretty large layout when you combine your exiting set(s) with this expansion pack.Your grandchild will really love you!

My 2 boys love trains. This is great for taking places with us. Also connects to other sets we have which they enjoy as well!

Came with a great number of tracks, and it's really cool that you can store track inside of the station.

Once the dad and uncles got the set put together (easy directions), my nephew was highly engaged and had a great time playing with this set for a couple of hours. Highly recommended for any Thomas fan!

My youngest son’s obsession with Thomas & Friends began awhile ago so this toy is one of his favorites. It’s very easy to assemble and track can be interchanged with others in the collection. Definitely worth the money for hours of fun!

My toddler is just starting to get into trains. This was marked down when I bought it, so for the value it was amazing! My only issue with the track is it is hard to get together, and seems like it could be broken easily. This goes for all the plastic Thomas track though, not just this set.

A fun toy train to add to your Thomas and friends collection! Got this for my son and it connects with the rest of the train sets he had. Pulling it out of the box to see him smile and go grab his other tracks to add and give him hours of fun to play with Thomas and the rest of his trains. I especially like that all him trains will work with it, the mini ones and the talking ones.

What we love most about the knapford station train set is the price point and versatility that it offers. It was very easy to set up even the bridge accessory was very easy to put together. There are limited pieces very straightforward construction. They include a generous amount of track pieces you can set this up a lot of different ways. I also really like that the station portion serves as a storage compartment for extra track pieces. We are getting quite the collection of Thomas the train tracks and having the station serve as a storage compartment is genius.
