Fine body in great shape. Most of the finish is in great shape however a two or three inch by four or five inch section has either faulty paint or was burned during buffing. Luckily it is in a spot that falls under the pick guard. Guitar looks fantastic but I know that flaw is there. Moon has a good reputation so I don’t believe this is normal for their products but it was real close to a return.

The item is described as having neck mounting holes pre-drilled. It does not. What is has is one large hole in the center of the neck pocket, but not four holes common to the "vintage" specs. To be fair, although the description says the neck mounting holes are pre-drilled, the photographs depict the single hole, so I should have passed on it there. The description also says there are no pickguard mounting holes, but there are, and they aren't even close to lining up with the pickguard I have (which, ironically, is also Chinese). The product photographs imply there are no bridge mounting holes either, but again, there are. One might assume the bridge mounting holes would be 2-7/32 (vintage spec), but they're drilled 2-1/16. I knew I was gambling when I purchased this, but I probably could have made it work if it didn't have the bridge mounting holes and pickguard mounting holes pre-drilled. Aside from the holes it's not supposed to have, the build is what I would expect at this price. If nothing else, hopefully the bridge mount specs I provided will help you decide whether you want to waste your money on this.

Unbuffed areas covered by pickguard, routes are accurate. Installing one of the bridge screws split the body along the grain leaving it unusable without some serious work. Probably just hang on the wall in the man cave.

Product arrived and was extremely well wrapped. I was skeptical at this price break that the finish would be very good. I am pleasantly surprised. This is a full body strat! No short cuts on size. Great product. I am very pleased.

This body was not built correctly. None of the holes that were pre-drilled does not match up, I’m going to have to put wooden dowels in and start over, Thanks

You can see where the multiple piece body was glued by the waves on the clear coat. You could maybe wet sand and buff but nobody has time for that. When I say multiple, I mean it. They clearly use wood that hasn’t been dried enough. Other than that, it’s cool.
