Scoop is 1 tsp/dose is way to high...
Product seems good. I really just wanted to make sure people knew that the scoop is not 1/4 tsp. It is 1 tsp. This may seem obvious but i read someone's review saying the scoop was the serving size 1/4 tsp. Scary...I wonder if the people who had bad experience way overdosed. You should always start with half dose. I still haven't tried full dose as I am not sure how much iodine this contains. Also this should not be combined with seaweed calcium. Too much iodine. Update: ok so I used Grok (AI) to help me figure out how much iodine this contains according to the package info and how much to feed my 30lb and 55 lb dogs. Obviously depends on what they are eating and how much. My dogs eat a raw diet but don't eat a lot of fish. May have small amounts of sardines once or twice a week. I don't use kelp when feeding any type of fish as it contains iodine already. We do eat a lot of eggs from my chickens. Eggs have roughly 25mcg iodine per yolk (raw) factored in. AI can be very helpful figuring stuff out. Put in what you're feeding and ask what's missing. However always double check I've gotten multiple different answers for the same question. Aafco rda's are quite often higher because they are going off of highly processed foods like kibble and accounting for malabsorbtion due to high amounts of legumes and Grains and high heat processing. If you are feeding fresh foods or balanced raw diets the nrc recommendations are safer. I prefer to get most nutrients from food and supplement when needed. It's actually quite complicated to make sure your pet gets what they need but I'm determined to figure it out. 30lb dog should get no more than 1/16 tsp once daily 4 days a week slightly above recommended 120-150 mcg. 55lb dog around 3/32 tsp 210mcg not including food. These are tiny amounts and I'm still figuring this out. Clearly the recommended doses are WAY less than the package suggests. Obviously some people give much more than that and apparently have good results, i don't know. I chose to err on the side of caution. If correct 1 tsp contains between 1800 -2500 mcg iodine. I'm trying to contact the company to verify this but that is too much for any dog or anything. You could cause toxicity, kidney failure and or thyroid problems. I think this is a good product and kelp provides many different nutrients just please use with caution and do your own research. I suggest you spend 5$ on some small measuring spoons usually 1/4tsp down to 1/64 TSP. They are very helpful for supplements. Also to those feeding kibble or commercially prepared balanced diets consider what might already be in food. Thank you for reading.

Definitely works!
My senior pug has IVDD. Each time she was scheduled for a dental cleaning, she would have a flare up and the cleaning was postponed. Now in her advanced years and her condition she will likely never get her teeth cleaned. This is the first time I have tried kelp and it is the single most effective dental treatment I have ever tried and I have tried several over the years and with other dogs. I have given her an 1/8 of a tsp each day for four months. Her breath is much better and her teeth are a bit cleaner. While brushing her teeth, I have had three occasions where a chunk of tartar has dislodged. She is 14 and while a professional cleaning would have been ideal, brushing her teeth several times a week and using this kelp daily has made a difference. I feed her a quality diet and a portion of what she eats contains seaweed. The 1/8 tsp that she gets takes this into account as I do not want to expose her to too much iodine. I will continue to supplement her food and all my pet’s food going forward. Not only is it effective, it is economical. I believe if I had used this all along she would never have built up the tartar to begin with.

Great Natural Supplement for My Dog
I use this organic kelp for my dog, and it’s been a great addition to his diet. It’s a clean, natural source of minerals and nutrients, and I love that it supports his skin, coat, and overall health. Easy to sprinkle on his food, and he eats it without hesitation. Highly recommend for dog owners looking for a natural health boost!

Thrilled to have found this company!
Kelp has SO many benefits for cats & dogs - it’s a superfood and I’m surprised that it isn’t way more popular. As a vet professional I’ve reviewed the science behind this stuff, and it’s nothing short of incredible! Especially for oral health, but also immune, joints & bones, allergies, skin & coat, the list goes on. It’s packed with nutrients, too. So glad to have found this company, and love that it’s organic. This is going on auto ship indefinitely.

Seems to be not losing as much hair as used too
Easy to give, cat somewhat likes it mixed with food. I got it to see if it would make a difference in her eating. She still meows a lot as she seems hungry but I did notice that she was no longer loosing clumps of hair. She hasn’t been diagnosed but I think she has hyperthyroidism…the biggest reason I bought it…high iron

Excellent product!
I wish I had thought to take pictures before starting this product. I was quoted up to $1200 for a dental cleaning. Have used this product for almost a month and the tartar is gone and the bad odor too. My vet is amazed.

Saw no difference
Just finished a bag between 2 corgi’s. Honestly, I see no difference in their teeth. I was expecting a miracle but can’t say that 🤷🏽♂️ Whether it has helped in other areas, who knows.

This helped my dog's thyroid go back up
My dog had low thyroid but went back up after a couple weeks of this sea kelp. Not sure if it was definitely the sea kelp but I think that's what brought it back up. I've been doing a scoop a day for my 50lb dog and she also seems to like it in her food
