Very tasty organic vanilla. Free from artificial ingredients including alcohol. It is expensive considering the size, but of the highest quality, so definitely worth the cost. Its texture is fine and fluffy, you can bake with it easily, I highly recommend this vanilla.

This ground vanilla powder is amazing and although the jar us small you don't need much (about half of liquid or paste). I've only used thus in quick bread thus far and have mixed it in with the wet ingredients. I'm thinking that for something like frosting I'd stick with using something more liquid like vanilla paste but not having tried it for that time of purpose I'm reserving judgement..The texture of this powder is very fine and the vanilla flavor us highly concentrated. I think it would be easy to put too much fir a butter result but just be cautious. Remember you can always put more but once in you can't take it out! So far I'm really impressed with this product and I think it's well worth the cost.

-no alcohol (bourbon in the name does not refer to contents but to the island of origin, I understand) or nasty chemical impurities, which is a huge deal to me, as is the organic seal; alcohol destroys the flavor/potency/medicinal and nutritional value of whatever it is supposed to be preserving, so I avoid it-1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon flavors my plain applesauce and other single-serving foods just fine-not cheap, so I need to ration it-not a super-fine powder; about a "medium" particle of powder, making it more pleasing texture-wise, to mix gently into dry or liquid edibles; I like leaving little clumps together-not as super-strong of a vanilla flavor as I had hoped for; is that due to the freshness or is that to be expected?-doesn't have a noticeably peppy vanilla scent, but that's ok; taste is more important to me

This is the best way to add vanilla to baked goods, smoothies, etc. It's so much better than alcohol-based vanilla. I keep this stocked in my kitchen and had to get the 4 oz. because I was going through the 1 oz. size so quickly!

This product DOES NOT smell like vanilla powder. It smells like toe jam! The expiration date says September 2026. I've been using vanilla products my whole life. Just ordered 3 different vanilla products and they're all coming up really short, but this one smells bad... I mean nothing like any vanilla - more like funky mold! This is going into the trash!
