If you aren't patient, spend the extra money for the Mopar sensor.
It will probably take two or three tries to get one that works correctly. The first one I got caused the truck to shift worse than before, the second one I got lasted for a few months and then brought the issue back. Third one works great. Luckily Amazon will let you keep swapping them out until you are happy as long as it's within the return window.

Works correctly.
The sensor was very easy to install and nicely manufactured. No codes or check engine light and best of all, no transmission fluid leaks. So far, so good. Would recommend.

so good..
(This has been updated, please read below) So far, so good...and so much thanks to other reviewers on this product. I had the same symptoms and took their advice, even relying on the description as to the location.of the part, and how long to change out. My transmission is shifting sooooo much better now. I do still need to change fluids and filters...but this was the part that was really needed.UPDATE:....Although I am still sure this sensor was needed...in the spirit of trying to help others and full disclosure...after driving the truck and testing rapid acceleration, I have found that I will still need a Solenoid kit. I am still getting some slippage at kickdown for dropping into a lower gear to take off quicker. Let me know if you have any questions.

Easy Fix For a Dodge Ram Hemi
Out of nowhere one morning my truck started acting strange. Basically I started it up, put it in drive and the transmission would not come out of second. It was stuck in "limp on" mode. It then displayed OBDII codes of P0732, P0733, P0869. After a little research and a recommendation from a local mechanic who said these are a common problem and usually only last about 80k to 90k miles, I decided to purchase this and give it a try. With being relatively inexpensive compared to a shop performing transmission work. I figured it couldn't hurt. Well, I am happy to say it did the trick! 5 minutes to swap out the part, and clear the codes, and now it's running perfect again. Part seems to be exactly the same as the OE part that was removed.

One faulty sensor and one good sensor. Stick to mopar products
Well i have two trucks that are identical. I bought one for the first truck because my original sensor was bad and it worked perfectly. The second truck the sensor was leaking and figured it was a matter of time until it was inoperable so I purchased a second sensor. The second sensor that arrived looked fine but did not work at all! So I reinstalled the original leaky sensor and can still move around without the delayed shift/slam into gear.

My transmission on my 2004 Dodge Dakota started acting up ...
My transmission on my 2004 Dodge Dakota started acting up. The check engine light came on with a P0841 code. I looked it up and decided to replace the transmission pressure sensor and it fixed the problem. I was able to replace it within 15 minutes.

Too cheap to be true, and it was
I had to replace my transmission pressure sensor in a 2005 Dakota. This one was so much cheaper than the OEM and I thought I would give it a try. It looked the same and fit perfectly. It seemed to fix my problem too but I found after some driving that there were issues with transmission temperature and over pressure faults and that this cheap sensor was not sending correct information to the TCM. It ended up over pressuring the seal in the transmission solenoid pack which had to be changed now. I finally realized that the cheap sensor was the root of the problem and changed it out for the OEM one. OEM was $160 but solved the problem. The cheap sensor ended up being a much more expensive repair.
