So far the clock is really silent and I love that. After I installed the battery, I had to check on it later to make sure it was actually working--that's how quiet it runs. It is a nice smaller size and fits my bathroom perfectly. Update=after 1 month of use it started making a grinding-type noise which has slowly increased in volume. So far it is still usable but if the volume continues to increase, I shall have to retire it to the attic and continue my search for a truly silent wall clock.

I have been looking for an inexpensive wall clock with larger numbers. I wanted it to be silent and battery operated. I was a little concerned about the suitability of this one but it's perfect. Very thin and lightweight and the modern look is pretty neutral which suits me just fine.

The clock arrived quickly, was well packaged, is quiet (as promised), and has been totally accurate since I purchased it. Looks great in my studio! Very happy with this purchase.

I like the look and the price. It is not silent though. I put it in our kitchen near the door and I kept thinking I heard something faint outside. I finally figured out it was just the clock. I could only hear it when the kitchen was totally quiet, so it’s not a huge deal. However, the silent part of its description is just not accurate.

The clock came broke right out the box. The minute hand came off and the hour hand is broken as well and is too loose to function. It’s not even worth my time to return a 13$ clock but I should have known better. I never write bad reviews on Amazon but I’m really irritated this time.
