As my Iaptop has a USB C (and after asking as well) it turns out that the Asus Vivobook F515JA is only data transfer via the USB C. So unfortunately this charger was no good to me. But the seller was fast to respond and resolve, I've now got the correct 12v charger on its way and I'll return this USB C charger today and get a refund. I'm giving this still 5 stars as I'm sure it works great if you're laptop is a USB C PD (I've been reading up) And the seller was also great thank you.

I am delighted with this power adaptor as it works with my 15-inch MacBook Pro perfectly and only gets slightly warm, even when the MacBook is working flat out and too hot to sit on my lap. It's much cheaper and less power-hungry than an inverter. I had to ensure the 12-volt socket could handle the10 amps that this power supply needs when working flat out. I totally recommend it.

Second EDIT:I must apologise. My initial finding - that this device does not charge a MacBook Air beyond 80% - was wrong. It turns out the Macbook has a fancy setting that limits charge to 80% when it thinks that is appropriate. With that setting turned off, all is well. I am upping my rating to four stars, and if the thing continues to work without problems will increase it to five.For clarity, I am deleting my original review.

Does the job well. Would have given 5 stars but I paid extra for faster delivery, as going away, but it did not arrive. The deadline was missed, so I had to go away without it. At least I got the postage refunded.

Bought to charge my Asus gaming laptop while away camping in my van. Draws 10A to run the laptop which is quite a hit on a small battery, but that's down to the laptop. The device delivers exactly what is needed so no complaints at all.
