Dragons: Race to the Edge - Mystery of the Dragon Eye [DVD]

DVD arrived in great condition. No scratches. No issues. Definitely a good purchase

This is a good item to buy for your collection. It has a total of 6 episodes on this disc from season 1of Dragons Race to the Edge. They are as follows: Dragon Eye of the Beholder part 1 & 2, When Darkness Falls, Gone Gustav Gone, Quake,Rattle, and Roll, The Next Big Sting. They do skip a couple of episodes so they don't go in the exact order of the series but it is still good. They do cut out a few parts in some of the episodes the only two I can recall at this moment is when they first left Berk were searching for an island outpost away from Berk and they did the V formation, the diamond formation and fish legs says "hey guys a little tight on the diamond "that part wasn't in the DVD. And yes I know I've watched it way too much LOL. Also where they explore all the other islands while trying to find their outpost was cut from the dvd as well. But all in all it was a good purchase glad I bought it. Hopefully they will come out with the complete series soon.

This DVD has some of the same shows as the First Season of "Race to the Edge" as shown on Netflix, except this DVD combines multiple episodes from Netflix to make longer movies. (I really wish there were more of the seasons shown on Netflix produced on DVD). Hiccup is an older teenager in these episodes and discovers a new device that opens up a lot of new adventures for him and his friends. These episodes are action packed like the original "How To Train Your Dragon" movies and actually fit (timeline wise) in between Movies #1 & #2. They are also a continuation of the Riders of Berk DVDs and Defenders of Berk DVDs. There is no cussing or using God's name in vain in these episodes, however, there is a lot of using mythological god's names used instead (weird). If you're a fan of Hiccup and the gang, this DVD is a must.

My whole family loves this series and was so disappointed when it was no longer available to us except through Netflix, which we cannot use. So upon seeing this, it was an instant buy not knowing exactly what was included.After watching it, the best I can figure is that it is about 5 or 6 episodes of Season 3. We were not disappointed and loved seeing more of the show. It may be our imagination but my spouse and I both agreed that infinitesimally the animation was a bit less than we remembered from the Cartoon Channel's animation, but it was still excellent.I only hope the rest of this season and the whole of the next two seasons are released so that fans like us can finally continue with one of favorite series. We were not disappointed and now we are chomping at the bit for more! So, please release them all .....

THIS WAS A SURPRISE AS I WENT WANDERING THROUGH CATEGORY PAGES. DIDN'T KNOW DREAM WORKS HAD COME OUT WITH A NEW ONE LAST YEAR.HEARD THEY ARE PLANNING TO COME OUT WITH A FULL LENGTH FEATURE IS A COUPLE YEARS.REALLY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE. IN FACT WE WATCHED ALL THE DRAGON MOVIES....ALL TEN OF THEM PLUS THIS ONE.

Great dvd..shipping was a bit slow but over all very pleased

The episodes are good, not in order. Wish it was just the series. Not a fan of these sort of sample discs but it is what the kid wanted for Christmas.
