Not my favorite
I should have thought about it before purchasing, but good luck keeping ANYTHING on this bed (including yourself). These things are SLIPPERY- Literally every single day I woke up with ALL my pillows and blankets on the floor. It’s essentially impossible to stop things from sliding. They are fairly comfy, but not more so than a regular set of sheets. I ended up splurging and getting some bamboo sheets after this, they are quite a bit more expensive but they are not nearly as slick and also are much comfier/cooling. If you like this type of material, I’m sure you’d enjoy but it just wasn’t for me! They looked great on my bed though!

Good quality.
We bought these sheet sets for our kids, they liked how soft and cool they were for the time that they slept in them.

Slippery but cool!
I ordered these sheets because I get very hot at night and heard that satin sheets are cooler, they most definitely are and very comfortable. The pillow cases were a bit big. I noticed that my pillows slide off the sides of my bed a lot but overall I am happy with these sheets.

Feel like a princess on water...... or a slip and slide if that's how you roll. Fun for cats, or just your own amusement!
For the record let me just say first off, I love silk or satin sheets. Since I've had my own place from the first time I've left home, my sheet of choice has been one or the other of these materials. Reason being is because I like how they feel. Yes they're slippery, so it takes time to get used to sleeping on them without slipping all over the place. Now, sadly, for a while now I've had to deal with cotton sheets. Granted they've been pretty good quality cotton sheets (obviously), but still I don't like how it sticks to my skin. However I live in a pretty cold climate so the static cling is quite intense with cotton. These control the static much better. Not as expensive as some sheet sets I've purchased in the past so that was a huge bonus!WASH THEM FIRST! This is a must step. Do not skip this. Do not assume that it will be fine if you don't. It is full of left over dye.If these aren't to your liking (either you don't like the slipperiness or you just don't like how they feel), and you don't like the roughness of lower quality cotton - check the thread count! Yes, you will be paying more for it, but higher thread count means smoother feel. Anything 250 or higher is generally a better quality cotton. Jersey sheets are just weird feeling and after a few washes don't feel as good as they did the first few times.

I have been using the pillow sheets for months now and I am glad I extended the greatness by purchasing the full set ...
No nasty surprises, everything was there and as described.I have been using the pillow sheets for months now and I am gladI extended the greatness by purchasing the full set of sheets. These are great for your hair - I definetly get less knots since I have beensleeping on a satin pillow case and my skin (particularily on my face)is not irritated from rubing against coton all night when I wake up.As a curly head, I can also attest that curls stay beautiful longer andare easier to manage in the morning.Hurray for second day hair and better skin! (:The only actual drawback there is is that it doesn't breathe that much so on thehottest summer night, you definetly shouldn't use any covers on top of it unless you would switch your sleeping hours for an at home spa time...That being said, not much can be done about it since satin doesn't breathe much (no matter the quality). It's supposed to be that way and if it didn't, I might suspect there wasn't as much satin as advertised. And as a bonus I did not expect, there is not much static/dog fur doesn't stic or stay on it.A pleasant surprise in my case since I chose the black set and my dog is white.Easy to clean!Very good overall.

Decent sheets
These sheets are pretty cool to the touch when they have been left alone for a while, which is always a nice feeling when you lay down on them after a long day at work (UPDATE 8/1/11: I wanted to note that while they are quite cool at first, they can be somewhat uncomfortable if you are sweating already, or on very warm nights). I got the full sized set, and my only complaint is that they are a little small. I use a foam pad on my mattress, and these sheets barely stretch over the entire mattress/pad, and often come loose. At first they make a lot of static electricity, but it goes away eventually. They are nice and shiny like they should be. The black hasn't rubbed off onto my mattress yet after several months of owning it.All around, decent sheets.UPDATE June 12th, 2011:I have recently upgraded to a 12" queen size bed, and decided to buy these sheets in matching size. The queen size sheets fit over my mattress fine, with maybe an extra inch or two to spare. I use sheet straps for the fitted sheet.About the old sheets: the old set I had for my full size mattress were about 2 years old when I replaced my bed. The top sheet and pillow cases were still in great condition but the fitted sheet had been pretty well destroyed by my dog. His coarse paws pulled out threads and destroyed the soft sheen. If you have pets, keep them off of these sheets!PS: I've never had trouble with these sheets staining anything.
