Maui Moisture Strength & Length + Castor & Neem Oil Shampoo, Curly Hair Product for Dry, Damaged Hair, 13 Fl Oz

I was on bed rest for several years and so used a shampoo that removed oil from my hair so I could get away with washing it only 2 times a week. Obviously, this damaged my hair and took it from thick and curly to thin and straight. But using this shampoo is making a difference and turning things around. It’s not instant, but after about a year of using this, my hair is getting thicker and my curl is returning. The hair I adored is coming back thanks to Maui Moisture!

I've been using the shea butter (pink bottle) shampoo/conditioner and my hair felt kinda weighed down. I took the quiz on their website and it recommended this shampoo/conditioner, it works wonderfully and my hair bounces and the curls are forming nicely.For reference I have fine 2C hair that has been color treated and gets dry really easily. This shampoo is perfect for itThe only thing I don't like about this is the size, the shea butter ones come in a bottle 2x the size but for the same price. I wish this were available in that size at that price point.

This shampoo has changed my game completely! The first ingredient is aloe instead of water, and it relys more on oils to cleans than tons of chemicals. My hair had all gone gray, and was dry and breaking. 6 months of this and my hair is like when I was a teenager. It's recently more than doubled in price, but I don't even care. Well worth $20. Smells amazing too!

I really like using this, it feels very luxurious & turns my limp waves into luxurious curls for the day! It might almost be a little too gentle, though, because when I use a heavy conditioner, it never feels like it quite rinses clean. So on wash #3, no more curls - just limp hair that feels more heavily coated than washed. Yet I still really like it, so I alternate it with a different shampoo/conditioner combo. Which doesn't seem ideal but I gotta tell you my hair has never looked better! The non-Maui days rinse out all the conditioner buildup, and makes the Maui days all the more luxurious! (Hair type: home-dyed & SUPER dry...until now!)

I'm allergic to so many things and this shampoo is wonderful for my hair. Shiny, relaxed, no frizz, smells great, no irritants for my scalp. Amazing seller.

I have fine, thin hair and struggle with oily top and dry ends and was looking for a shampoo with conditioner when I came across this shampoo. It feels moisturerized but doesn't look greasy the next day. I like the little cooling on my scalp too from the peppermint. I also like the smell and it does not seem to keep the smell for too long which is good if you don't like fragrances or mixing scents. It is worth a try especially if you don't have tons of money for gourmet shampoo.

oh my god. it smells so good it’s like my favorite smell ever. it’s one of my favorite hair products and i’m searching amazon for a candle or something that smells like this soap. it makes my hair so shiny and my curls so defined. i’ll never get over this shampoo!
