I tried espresso pods from other vendors. None came anywhere close to Nespresso's own pods. Then I tried these Kimbo Intenso pods and I was so pleasantly surprised by the great taste and the aroma of this brand that I became a regular customer! Over the last 2 years, I've ordered 100-pack Kimbo pods 5 times.Kimbo pods are 100% Arabica coffee. That is quality. In addition to the great taste and aroma, these pods are priced right --- about half of the cost of Nespresso-brand pods! I highly recommend it.

These are by far the best tasting espresso pods I have tried, including many of the official Nespresso varieties. I hesitate to recommend them however because the last two deliveries, the first from a third party seller, and the second directly from Kimbo US, were past their expiration dates. The order from the third party seller was many months past the expiration date, and undrinkable. The price was low enough that I simply threw them out and tried buying directly from Kimbo US. That order arrived one month out of date. Some of the pods are fine, others are not. It may be that neither seller has enough volume to move pods on a timely basis, but that's not a valid excuse in my opinion. Based upon the quality and price, if I could rely upon getting fresh orders, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have searched far and wide for a decent nespresso compatible pod. I’ve tried finding something that is under what the Big Boys charge. At first I wasn’t going to try these because they were a plastic capsule. I have had zero luck with plastic capsules. These are different. There’s foil on both ends so the machine doesn’t have to go through the plastic itself. At 27 cents a shot I thought I’d give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. It had great flavor and crema. I’ve bought several boxes and will continue to buy more.

I bought a case of these capsules because of the large number of positive verified reviews. Every morning I make a two-shot latte and I was hoping these Kimbo caps would become an affordable favorite. Previously I've used and enjoyed capsules from a wide variety of brands including Nespresso, Starbucks, Illy, Amazon Fresh, Pete's, and more. These Kimbo capsules made the worst tasting coffee by a long shot. The primary flavor note was old dirt, mixed with slight bitterness, and a lingering taste of regret. I couldn't make it past the third sip. I made a cup for my less picky husband to try and he agreed it was terrible. Sadly, when I logged onto my Amazon account to initiate a return, I discovered they are not returnable. Now I am sad, uncaffeinated, and out nearly $30.
