Yoolax Motorized Roller Blinds Accessories (Solar Panel)

Was skeptical that this panel could power my 100'' blinds, but it was easy to install and definitely works! Even better, they fulfilled their promise to replace one of my panels when one of the cables came loose, even months after I bought it.

The media could not be loaded. Update:Its not the solar panel this time. I plugged my new panel in and after a day the blind is still not responding. I plugged the blind in and it won't charge from the outlet. Will contact customer service. I will increase the stars on this product as the panel didn't fail, but obviously I have bigger concerns the entire blind had failed.Original review:This is the second time a yoolax solar panel has died on me. First one yoolax replaced after 6 months, the replacement just died after 11 months. I waited for the blinds to completely run out of power so depending on the battery life of the blinds these solar panels actually stopped working months prior.The models I got came with black cables which look terrible against white window trim. Looks like the new model may come with white. I wrapped mine with white electrical tape.$50 is a little pricey for a 5w solar panel. It is specific to this application so initially I didn't mind, but I certainly do if I'll be replacing it every year.

Final Update: I have been able to get the solar cell connection for my blind resolved with the help of some very excellent customer service. I don’t like the really short cord but with a couple more connections, it will work. Yoolax service is great. So I am increasing the stars.Update again: The USb C extension doesn’t fit the Yoolax nlind micro usb. So have to get another adapter as well. Yoolax helped me find the right adapter.Update: Yoolax customer service contacted me very promptly so I am adding a star. I asked them to provide a cord long enough to actually reach the blind motor for mounts outside of frames. That is what they used to sell. I was able to find an extension so will be able to make this work. So I added a star because they are responsive but until I see a longer cord, I am not buying any more solar cells for my other blinds.Original: Beware! Yoolax used to sell a nice solar cell that had a cord that was long enough to reach the blind. Not anymore! Cord on new solar cell is so short it barely clears the frame.

I got a broken solar panel, they replaced it right away, I accidentally recent my smart motor, they walked me through the steps to reprogram it. Everything works better than I could have imagined and their support is top tier. This is the only company I will ever buy smart blinds from!

I need a new one. It didn't work AT ALL!!
