I don't like that it has a cut down it to 8" can i get one without a cut down it?

The scored mark is a factory molded indent on the underside of the sluice matting; it does not affect the performance of the material. It is only available in this one style

If i buy 2 will it be one full sheet or 2 separate pieces?

It will be two sheets but you could use gorilla tape on the bottom and connect the two seams together

How does it stay in the sluice box?

First off , you may have to cut it to size to fit your sluice, there is nothing holding it in unless you create something. Good quality mat.

is it 3' or 27" geeze, I hate it when the sellers have different measurements in different parts of the description...it makes a difference

It’s 27” I used it on my two foot sluice and it works great. Classify down to 1/8” any bigger small rocks get stuck in deep U but it catches gold!!!
