It's okay for DIY home garage use. Not for job sites.
I have quite a few gadget tools. I buy them hoping they will make tedious tasks a little easier... like when I'm laying LVP or laminate flooring and I have to make a cut... or multiple cuts... to accommodate something like a door jamb, toilet flange, 100 year old trim that I won't dare try to remove... etc... With each new gadget tool I hope that MAYBE this one will work as advertised....If you have patience and time... meaning you're not getting paid by the square foot where time equals your paycheck .... I'm sure this would work. Actual real world use on a job site... this was just to flimsy and it took too long to adjust and tighten the tiny adjusting screws tight enough so it wouldn't slip out of adjustment when pressing it tight against a wall... It absolutely did not perform with lightning speed and efficiency as you see in the videos. I'm not saying it doesn't work... if you have time to monkey with it and have more patience than Job... (Job from the Bible)....

Cheap plastic and big in size
- The thing is huge. Very bulky.- Cheap plastic. Think Dollar store quality.- Pencil holder is adequate at best.That being said, it is possible to scribe with. It does the job as intended. Although for how flimsy it feels I doubt it would last long in the shop or on job sites. Quality is just not there.Pic 1) gives reference for size.Pic 2) is the mechanism that holds pencil or penPic 3) result of a scribe with a long reach marker.
