These work!
I have a problem when water gets in one ear. It can take a long time to dissipate. These help by minimizing the water but still allowing me to clear my ears.

Comfy
Love em. There is a hole in them I use them when riding my Harley so it doesn’t cut out all the noise.

Ear savers for scubadivers
I purchased a couple of sets of the DOCS proplugs (vented) for a couple of reasons.Firstly, I'm a scubadiving instructor so I dive on a regular basis and I've found them a great help. They reduce the chances of ear infections (which can be common amongst divers and mean you miss out on that amazing dive) but I've also found they help equalising on the descent. I've already recommended them to a few of the dive club members and they all appear to notice a difference so I would highly recommend them.Secondly, my niece, who is a keen swimmer, had to have grommets inserted into her ears and she was told she would have to give up swimming for a while as she had to minimise the water getting into her ear canal. The other alternative was to wear earplugs. She had tried normal earplugs for the pool before the operation but couldn't hear the teachers instructions so had given up hope of keeping up with her classes and friends. However, I knew you could still hear conversations easily with the proplugs in and given the depth of the pool, the vented ones would be perfect. So, after checking her size, I ordered her a pair so they would arrive just after the operation. Long storey short, she loved them and didn't have to give up swimming at all. In fact she even used them in the shower after the operation to avoid getting water in her ears (which have now healed perfectly).I have to admit the only downside (and the only reason they didn't get 5 stars) is the fact they're transparent - coloured ones would be much easier to find if you drop them on the dive boat, at a dive site or in the pool (hence the reason why I'm ordering multiple sets...I've lost two sets already!). I appreciate some come linked together on a leash but they just get pulled out of your ears when divers pull their hoods on so the leash is actually a problem. Although you can get coloured ones (red, blue, pink) they tend to be the non-vented earplugs which are of no use to divers. If anyone from DOCS proplugs reads this - PLEASE make a coloured version of your vented earplugs and sell them in the UK for divers!. Bright yellow, bright red (like the non-vented) or bright green would be very useful.

Non returnable if they don't fit.
I bought medium. I am average size female. I swim regularly and have perforated eardrums. Must have dry ears! These leaked. They felt like they fit. I will continue to use Macs wax type ear plugs. These might work for others, just not me. Not willing to pay to try smalls.
