Do these have solid copper wires, or the cheap aluminum wires like most other products?

The one I received appears to be aluminum.

Can i use this for solar setup, between pv panel & charge controller? i need a quick disconnect close to the solar panel. ty

You may use this as a disconnect noncode for not on grid system. I do for my 12vdc PV system ok. higher amp panels and higher voltage panels may produce a spark why you remove the fuse, avoid sparking
