Work, But Needs Improvement
I used these to mount LEDs on the back of a headboard. I was correctly skeptical that one screw on each bracket wouldn't be enough. As you tighten, it lifts the other side out from the piece. I should have a screw on either side of the strip. I spaced mine every 5", with the LED resting on top of the bracket so if the adhesive fails on the strip, it shouldn't fall. Metal hanger straps would work better if they will never be touched/ seen. The throw of the LED is not impeded by these brackets which is nice.

Broke a few screws until I started pre-drilling holes
After I started predrilling, they worked fine, but the screws are definitely not high strength. Fit my 8mm LED light strip perfectly. These are pretty small, so if you have large fingers they can be somewhat clumsy to install. Overall very happy with them and knowing my strip lights won't fall down.

Too soft
I gave them a try, but they turned out to be too soft. Once you start screwing them in (in my case - to the wood through the carpet), they get twisted, and sometimes ears pop off from the screw and/or getting damaged. Once in place, they hold pixel stripes more or less well. I should have paid attention and purchased the plastic ones, not silicone. See the picture to give you an idea.

Work as advertised
Exactly what I needed. Fit perfectly, very minimal and will use these when ever I can vs the tape that comes with strip lights.

Screws are very small. Hard to drill in
Works well, holds good but the screws are a little hard to drive in. I installed in a high area from a ladder, hard to drive the little screws so i grabbed a hand full of larger ones

The screw is too small to attach anywhere. I bought these for my LED strips but, I could not use any of them. I have tried many different ways but, it is simply too hard to install.
