The functionality appears to be OK but the major problem with this product is that you cannot fix this to a wall or fence. There is a space where a standard screw would usually fit into, but the head is not secured as the gap for the screw in the backing plate never narrows to secure the screw. Only purchase if you have no intention of fixing to a wall or fence.

Not sure about this one. Clear display and decent size. When first bought, the setting changed from F to C repeatedly without my input regularly overnight. Now seems to have settled on F, my preference. Bought two, one of which powered up as soon as I put in the batteries, the other appeared to be a dud. However after several days outside it seemed to be working properly. May just have been bad luck, maybe some damage in transit. Tried changing batteries early on, this doesn't seem to have made any difference. No idea what the fault was or if it will recur. May just have been bad luck, maybe some damage in transit. Unable to comment on accuracy yet. Both are in sheltered positions so don't yet know about weatherproofing. Method for attaching them to a surface is pretty basic compared to others I've used. Had to improvise. OK at the price I suppose, but I've had better. Time will tell - they may be OK but I wouldn't particularly recommend them (yet).
