Splendora Lip Sleeping Mask - Plumping Peach (20g / 20ml)

I have seen so many people writing about the wonders of lip sleeping masks so I was excited to try this and see if it did anything amazing. I can report that this smells fantastic, like a fresh ripe peach, and it is very enjoyable to apply right before bed. It is a light and pleasant fragrance, not over powering, but noticeably enjoyable.It has no taste, which I consider a very good thing. It applies easily and smoothly, and it takes very little product to completely cover the lips, making this a product that will last a long time even though it arrives in what may seem like a very small container.It is very hydrating although I do not think of it as being a "game changer" in terms of hydration or plumping. I did not find it to have a plumping effect. It did not find this to be any better, in terms of results, than applying a thick coat of lip balm or eye cream to the lips before bed. It also has a very shiny finish to it, that I find a bit off putting in terms of how it looks while wearing. For these reasons I deducted one star, as I would have expected more, and I get the impression that most people expect more, from a dedicated lip plumping product.

I get horribly chapped lips in the winter, as much as I try to avoid it. I put on lip moisturizers all day long, but I still seem to continually have dry, cracked lips. This lip sleeping mask has done wonders for me!It has a strong peach scent, but it doesn't taste like it at all. After applying it to my lips, the scent seems to fade, as well. The included applicator is something I will use long after the lip mask is gone, as I have several other tins of lip balm that I hate to use my finger to apply. This is a great solution, as the thick, hard tip is able to scoop up the product, and then I am able to apply it directly to my lips, all without touching the product and my lips with my hands.The mask felt a little weird at first (heavier than I was expecting, maybe), but after a little bit, it felt normal to me. When I wake up in the morning, my lips are very soft and moisturized!I can't speak for lip plumping, but I can speak for the moisturizing properties, with which I am very pleased. I would recommend this product overall!

I usually put on WAAAAY too much lip balm at night before going to bed just to keep my lips hydrated. This lip mask is a much more effective option. It keeps lips hydrated and soothed overnight. You'll wake up to brand new lips. You can even use this as a replacement for lip balm. Use it under lip stick/gloss/stain for a smooth base. You definitely won't use as much of this because a little lasts for hours. I HIGHLY recommend this product.Thanks so much for taking the time to read this review. I have really dry skin which in turn means I have chapped lips, especially during winter. This sleeping mask has been wonderful. I am using the Splendora lip scrub and then applying this ointment before I go to sleep. It soaks right in and by the time I wake up, my lips feel so great and are no longer dry and chapped. There is also no rebound dryness since I have been using this.I can't tell if my lips are any plumper when I wake though - my lipstick goes on so much better after using this. It has the consistency of an ointment but is not greasy or messy. It has a pleasant scent of peaches but to me, there is just a sweet taste and nothing of fragrance.Simple Directions: Apply generously with your finger or included lip application brush and leave Lip Mask on overnight. Gently wipe off remains the next morning.Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Copernicia Cerifera Wax, Plukenetia Volubilis.

In the winter months my lips get really chapped and this product has really helped with this. It’s easily spreadable and after 6h asleep I still feel it on my lips. I don’t see how this would plump lips but I definitely see how it moisturizes. It’s thick and that’s fine with me.I have smelled this numerous times and not once do I ever think “peach” it does smell sweet but not overly sweet and it definitely doesn’t have any sort of sweet taste to it. But it’s not made for eating so I can’t be mad about that.If you’re looking for something to help with moisture this a great product for you, if you’re looking for plumping it’s best to look for a different product.
