It may seem ridiculous to purchase an 8-inch long rawhide chew for a 17-pound Westie, but these are the only chews that last a long time for her. She is a power chewer and plows through everything else we've tried way too quickly. We jokingly call this her dinosaur bone. It takes her a few weeks to get this chewed down to the point that we finally take it away from her for safety's sake (about 3 inches long). She is unable to bite off large pieces all at once and slowly gnaws at it from the ends which is much safer for her digestive system. The price is reasonable given the hours and hours of chewing time she gets out of these. Our dog is also super high-strung and chewing these helps her to calm down, especially in the evenings before bedtime. We highly recommend this product and so does our dog! :-)

Was not expecting these to be as big as they were. My pit mix can usually destroy something in 2.5 seconds. But one of these lasted her 3 days. However my other two dogs finished one in about an hour which is still longer than any other product that I've previously bought. But that's okay. They were happy. Again, I was impressed by the size. Very good product and I will be buying from this company again.

I know there are people who think dogs should not have these, but our dog will destroy any other toys - even the so called indestructible toys. She's a chewer, so rawhide is what works and she loves them. Best part, these are American made. I've tried others that were made in Mexico and China. Although she liked them, the dog produced really bad gas in those. These are a little more expensive, but worth it not to get gassed out of my home

I've purchase these chews frequently. I noticed with the last couple orders a smell of bleach. It's a fairly strong order. The dogs have always loved them but now I wonder why if I should buy any more.

This came highly recommended, and I have to say, the dogs don't have digestion issues with these, they are high quality, and from what I can tell, made without chemicals or harsh methods. Can't ask for more!
