The packaging wasn't proper of the item. It took more than a week to be delivered, if you get hard water in your region check if this is the best because they are better ones than this too.

Not for AO smith
Thread size is little higher than the heater size. I have tested with AO smith. You may need to add extra O rings for better fitment. If you add there will be a High chances of leakage. So plan accordingly.

Hose for water heater
It was nice to look but it’s nut height was too less , threading found slippery, nuts were non stain less steel material. It was chrome plated . Found leakage after fitting .
