Being able to change the shade.
We like the square base verses the round base. It is an added bonus having the USB plug. My problem with this lamp is that it is very difficult to change the shade if it breaks. We bought 2 of these and the wind blew in the window and knocked one over, breaking the glass shade. Finding a replacement shade was not a problem but unscrewing the side screws that hold the shade was a huge problem. They are welded into place and literally impossible to remove so that a new shade can be inserted. It is infuriating that the factory made it so you cannot replace the shade. We had to take it to someone who also has a difficult time removing a simple screw and it cost us more money to have it removed. We will be needing 8 more of these lamps but I will not buy these again for this simple but major reason.

Perfect desk lamp with a phone jack at the side. The base is heavy enough to keep it from toppling over easily.

Disappointed that the USB didn't work
I loved this item but the low star if for the fact that the USB port didn't work. I purchased this particular light because it hase the USB outlet. I received the item and the USB didn't charge. I requested a replacement and that replacement USB didn't work. I will try one last time for a replacement and if it doesn't work I will just buy from a different company

Don't plan on using the phone charger for long!
I singled this product out because it had a phone charger. The second time I tried to hook up the cable, the terminal went back inside the base. Very cheaply made from a quality aspect. I do not recommend if you are buying this product because it has phone charger. The light works fine.
