The best part of this bag is it gives you the basics and a good start for the emergency items you need. The bag is good quality, and there is so much more room to add your own items. I ordered this to be an example bag to some upcoming Emergency Go Bag classes I will be teaching, but I will be also keeping it on hand, adding to it, and hopefully not ever have to use it!! Great bag!

The backpack is very durable and the contents are all great to have. Just added a few personal things like meds, glasses, phone chargers, etc. The backpack is just the right size. Not too big, not too small. It can be stored most anywhere.

We just moved from the south to the Midwest. In the sound tornadoes are a thing but not as significant of a threat as the Midwest. Our first week we experience a multiple tornado outbreak and one of them being an EF4. My husband who is normally a “it’s not going to do thing, I’m staying here” suggested we get this and begin creating our tornado safe area. I highly recommend this, this bag is going to be great help if we ever find ourself in a bad situation. Only thing I wish was that there were 4 of everything not just the meal, water, poncho, and blankets. Over all I’m impressed with this bag and we will be adding more things to this bag. If you live in a weather prone area, please consider getting this or something similar. Stay safe.

A good, basic emergency prep kit. I bought it for my mother, after evaluating it against a few other options. Its lightweight, solid bag construction, and has the basics of what one might need in an emergency. It is certain that anyone would want to add a few items to this kit, but it has plenty of room to do so. Definitely not a "one and done" bag, but a good start for anyone to customize their own survival load.

With the recent earthquakes occurring on the West Coast, we thought it would be a good idea to have some back up supplies ready in case we needed to evacuate. Reading reviews, there was indication that this survival kit is basic but leaves enough room in the backpack to add other essential items. That being said, I purchased life straws, granola and PB packets as well as portable solar chargers to the packs. There is still plenty of room to add clothing and other items of necessity. The price for what is included is somewhat reasonable but to be fair, we purchased these based off timeliness rather than value and they were delivered to us within a day. I'd highly recommend this kit if you are looking to start a quick evacuation plan.
