My daughter loves this!
I bought this the other day and my daughter has used it every day since it arrived. She loves anything that requires putting things together. My only small complaint I guess you could call it is that the balls break apart very easily. At least with my 4 year old and 1.5 year old playing with them. I have had to use super glue to fix a couple already and we have only had it for a couple of days. But that being said it has still been a huge hit at my house.

A good deal for the price, just realize it is smaller than it appears in the photos.
Photo with soda can for scale. These are a bargain for the current sub 30 price.Comes with a nylon “cover” which is large enough to make a “roof” but not to cover a structure that it 3 units tall. The photo shop makes it look larger than it really is.Each stick is about 14 inches, and part of it goes into the ball. That would make the girl in the blue dress about 25 inches tall. A typical 3 or 4 year old is about 36 inches, so be aware of that issues.Come with some free dinosaur stickers.A coordinated 4 year old can manage this, with some trial and error. Getting the sticks into the balls takes some hand/eye coordination and force, but not so much that most kids cannot handle it.The structures are sturdy enough for a sheet, but not a blanket to hold up.I also use these as trellises for my plants, I can add on as the tomato plants get larger.A good deal for the price, just realize it is smaller than it appears in the photos.

Better Than Similar Sets We've Tried
We have this building set and a similar one from a different brand. We like this one better, and the kids have had fun with it.One thing that's particularly nice about this set is the striped connector balls. It's actually VERY important to get the balls facing the right way; if you don't, the holes won't align correctly, which is necessary for structures like an igloo, etc. The colors make it easier for for kids get the balls all facing the same way.Again, compared to other sets, this one seems slightly sturdier, and the rods don't pop out of the holes quite as easily. That being said, the balls have slightly more heft than the other set's do, so...there's a greater potential for a kid getting clocked with one. This is the only set we've tried that comes with a "blanket" to use as a cover, albeit a tiny one.All in all, I think this is a great toy and a good way to get kids to disconnect from electronics and engage in some creative and imaginary play.

Broke in a day
I have two different brands of these. This one had segmented connectors and the other one I have the connectors where solid. My son broke this set in a day, his other set remains intact. These sets are super fun, my son plays with them for hours but I personally wouldn't recommend this one.

Pretty good overall
I ordered another one of these in the past and this one is much sturdier than the last one. The connection balls are solid. The biggest issue is that the blanket is pretty small so if you really want a fort, you need to use your own LIGHT weight blanket or perhaps a sheet to fully get the covered fort feeling. That being said, I would recommend this product as it's given my grandkids hours of fun.
