Not 2.2 pounds!
The instrument feels cheap. I expected a heavy brass thermometer but it only weighs 8 ounces as it is mostly plastic and cased in a thin metal (presumably brass). I will probably return it.

This is an excellent addition to any Bridge! Not only does it look amazing, it is also very precise. Excellent product!

Revised
My original review stands. After many emails, I was instructed on how to calibrate the instrument. This is something I never thought I'd need to do when buying something new and while it seems to be functioning satisfactory, I don't think I should have had to calibrate it upon arrival!

Seriously these are so cheap! I purchased all three and expected some quality. Not sure that it is even brass!

Attractive and accurate.
My husband mounted this on a nice piece of wood and mounted on our lanai. Seems accurate and is very attractive.
