This is great coffee, smooth and taste good. I've been buying my coffee on Amazon for quite some time now, because it's more affordable than the stores.

Taste is great, we use it in our espresso machine. Makes for great espresso! Gives a big boost of energy. My partner and I recently tried this out, and as folx who don't drink as much coffee anymore (about 1-2 cups per day at most), we are noticing we're drinking more coffee consistently each day! Physical and psychological effects are nice.

Flavor was good but couldn’t tell much of a difference between this product and death wish coffee

In doing research for very strong coffee, Black Insomnia came up consistently at the top (or 2nd) for caffeine content. I have a very high tolerance for caffeine, so I'm not easily impressed. This brand, however, comes through for me. I don't feel a sudden jolt or get shaky, but I can feel my energy level surge and sustain for about 6-7 hours. Those who are sensitive to caffeine may need to go slow on drinking this, but I don't see it as a brand that's going to give you heart palpitations, for example. In addition, I have to say I find it rather smooth instead of bitter or biting. Overall, a good buy and good value.
