For tall skinny dudes…or big guys with no chest.
Stylish and trendy. Sizing and fit leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re a tall, chicken chested man with skinny arms and a Buddha belly - this will fit. This muscular and stocky 5’9” guy ordered (and returned) a large and an XL that were super tight around my chest (could not close the zipper at chest with either) but ok at the waist.The replacement XXL fit my chest ok, but had an extra 10” around the waist and the sleeves extended four inches beyond my fingers. My favorite custom tailor took in the waist and shorted the sleeves…and I look great wearing it!

For Skinny People
I'm a huge fan of Barbour, but this jacket is cut extra slim. I bought the large, which normally fits just fine, but not in this case. If you are not very skinny, you'll look like a "pig in a blanket" (mini hotdog hors d'oeuvre).

Love it, and true to size.
The prior reviews called for ordering larger.. I ordered the XL, and it’s a bit baggy.. love the quality and the jacket! Outstanding bargain too.. a close out.

Do you wear a ski parka with a suit? Then don't buy this!
I will start with I hate to wear coats but once the cold weather of Chicago hits you need a coat like it or not!The worst look is the guy in the ski parka with suit, this is the same guy that has on tennis shoes with a suit in the summer walking to the train.I wear a suit daily and need a functional but smart looking coat. Heavy long wool coats get dirty jumping in and out of cabs. The Barbour Liddlesdale Classic is truly a classic smart look. The coat is warm and very light weight and that is key with the ever changing temperatures in Chicago. Other companies (Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren) try to duplicate the look but there is only one Barbour.Ski parka guys keep it moving this is not for you!

Heritage: Für breite Schultern oder für Dickerchen nicht geeignet
Wichtig: Es gibt dieBarbour Jacke Liddesdaleund dieBarbour Jacke Liddesdale Heritage.Die Heritage ist eigentlich die gleiche Jacke, ABER in deutlich schmäler (nennt man heute Slim fit) geschnitten.Ich bin 1,81 und 78 Kg. Von der Figur würde ich mich zwischen normal und schlank einordnen. Ich habe Größe L genommen. Passt für mich wie angegossen. Die Schultern sind für mein Empfinden bzw. meine Figur minimal zu eng bzw. hätte ich mir etwas weiter gewünscht bezüglich der Bewegungsfreiheit. Da die Jacke aber ansonsten perfekt passt behalte ich sie. Fazit: Für breite Schultern oder für Dickerchen ist diese Jacke bzw. dieser Schnitt nicht geeignet. Ein Stern abzug, da die Innentasche wirklich sehr klein ausfällt. Einen handelsüblichen Männer-Geldbeutel bekommt man gerade so in die Innentasche, aber der Reißverschluss der Tasche lässt sich dann nicht mehr schließen. Zum Glück ist der Geldbeutel nach dem Kauf der Jacke etwas schmäler ;-)
