Ordered 3 of these for our kitties just in case they ever get out.It was so easy to choose the size and shape, and to add the line dog text. The preview feature was nice bc I wanted everything to be legible and was able to make adjustments I tiki got it right.They shipped very quickly and as soon as I opened the envelope I actually ran around showing everyone how beautiful they are!The names are beautifully large and centered on the front, and the 2 lines on the back are easy to read and nicely aligned.Couldn't recommend them more - amazing! Was pleased to find real engraved tags. We had laser engraved tags which lasted about a year before the wording began to rub off and became difficult to read. I have high hopes that these will last forever. The lettering was appropriately sized for the number of characters per line and nicely centered.

This is a really nice 2-sided text tag -- and definitely etched, not 'stamped/printed'. Printing is nicely done. My only improvement would be that there could be an allowance for a little more text. 2 years ago I purchased another tag from another company (same size as this one - but it looks 'printed' on, and is now fading somewhat) - I was able to put more text on it and was hoping to use the same text with this one, but instead had to reduce it to fit. The font size is much larger with this tag than my previous one, so that is probably the reason. Other than that -- definitely a nice tag!Update 4/2018: I spoke too soon. Looks like this tag lasted less than a year. I went to put my new tags on my dog's collar and found that the letters on her ID tag has almost disappeared. Had she run off, unless someone took the time to investigate the rabies tag or did a microchip check, she would have been lost for good. Not recommended.

Seller was VERY responsive and emailed right away.Other reviews let me know the depth of the engraving wouldn't be super deep, so, that was very helpful in setting my expectations up front. The tag is good, has the necessary info and it's not going to rub off like the aluminum ones from PetSmart or the grocery store did.

First of all, these tags are GREAT! I have had many other types of tags, aluminum, plastic, even chrome plated steel. These are by far the more superior, they do NOT have any potentially harmful paint, plating, nor any other possible toxin. They are SIMPLY engraved stainless steel. If you're like me, concerned about your best friend, especially the little ones, these are the perfect tags for you!Granted they maybe not the most visible tags from afar since they do not add any paint, glitter, nor chrome plating, they are also elegant in their simplicity, they actually look so much better in real life as the engraving has these natural glitter effect on the steel. As for the complaint of them being thin, they certainly are not thinner than any of the others, maybe the chrome plating makes some appear thicker, but the plating also may be potentially harmful for your little ones, especially when they start to wear off and chip off.As for pricing, these are VERY REASONABLE compared to other sellers here and certainly to pet stores or any retail stores.Second and more importantly, these guys are one of the most helpful, understanding, and accommodating seller here, or for that matter anywhere! And this is important if not only for the fact that these tags are CUSTOMIZED, not just pick out from shelf and ship out.I wanted to have my friend's tag to be somewhat unique, so I asked to maybe have a different font than what is displayed, not expecting anything, just though I'd ask. They quickly got back to me asking if I have any particular font in mind, and they will check if it is in fact doable. Some font/typeface are, understandably, not able to be translated to engravings well. I took my time to look for the particular typeface I like and thought would be unique, and sure enough they said they are able to accommodate me on it. Sent me a proof within a day, and they looked perfect, I had to order more, just for spares!I also ordered another special one in XL to use as a memorial for my 18 year old best friend who just recently had passed away. AND IT ALSO turned out PERFECT!!! I requested another different typeface, and one other special character to make it more special since it is used as a memorial. Our dog just starting wearing his collar and we put this tag on it at the same time, maybe 2 weeks ago from date of review. He was able to scratch it while getting used to wearing his collar, it seems like it scratched up super fast and the lettering became unreadable. As other reviews have stated, it looks really pretty when its new but it doesn't have good durability. I suspect the metal is too soft or the engraving isn't deep enough to hold up to a dog's nails for any significant length of time. I'd pass on this one for the price...

It might get in my cat’s way while he’s cleaning himself and annoy him...... but the measurements are clear and that’s my bad. It is a bit larger than some but I LOVE IT. I know if he got out that my information is visible and clearly engraved. Just because they can see and maybe pet your cat doesn’t mean they can catch them and get them checked for a microchip. I still believe a tag is important. Especially with cats, as they’re way less trusting of just anyone to hold them.

I used this two-sided tag to clip into my college backpack. I engraved my student is number along with my phone number and name, should it become lost. The stainless steel material is durable and the engraving is easy to read. It is heavier than the aluminum material that most dog tags are made out of. The large circle size is exactly in the dimensions given to you, when ordering. Buy it for larger sized dogs only. Also consider it for school backpacks and car keys. I also bought one to put on my key chain and engraved two alternate numbers on it. I would avoid engraving your home address or make/model of your car. Engraving a phone number is sufficient to reclaim list keys.
