Misled by Amazon
I started looking for a rear sump oil pan for a SBF with a shallower front section than stock. After searching thru the many listings ( many clearly front sump ) I stop my search. Later in a email Amazon offer the pan that I thought was correct. Bought it tried to make it fit ,cut the baffle ,contacted the seller explained my problem ,Bought a new oil pump pick up and shaft.Pump was same as stock. NO WHERE was it made clear that these products were for a FRPNT SUMP PAN. 200 dollars down the drain.

Poor paint prep.
I purchased this for a project that is in the works, so at this point it hasn’t been installed yet. It appears to be perfectly functional, but the paint is very poor. It looks like the metal sat without protection before paint was applied as there is paint missing and chips on the welds with rust showing underneath. I’ll be fixing that before this pan is used.
