We got this scale, so could see how much weight we could lose before our next vacation. It came with batteries, and were easy to install. You trigger the scale by stepping on it, and it has very accurate readings. It has little adjustable feet on the bottom too. Nice, slim, and compact design that is just the right size. Small enough to easily slide under the sink without it being a tripping hazard and big enough to fit my feet comfortably. Automatically turns on when you step on the scale and your weight will display in a few seconds and automatically shuts off when you step off so the batteries should last a long time. Easy to read LED numbers. Gives me accurate reading within a few seconds of stepping on the scale. It's also lightweight so easy to move around if needed. Comes with 2 AAA batteries and tape measure though I never saw the tape measure. I must have unwittingly threw it out with the box so be careful to look in the the sides and under the scale before throwing out the box. Does exactly what it's meant to do while looking good while visable and easy to hide when not in use. Recommend.
