Aerocool Fan and Temperature Controller (V12XT) (3-(Pack))

I used this product to "retro upgrade" an older model Dell OptiPlex 990. In a smaller case like this there was a little bit of a cable mgmt. issue as this has a lot of wiring and combined with the power supply cables I had a lot to try and hide but besides actually being functionable I mostly thought it added a great aesthetic appeal to a boring case. Im sure in a larger or more modern case the wiring issue would be of no concern. Touchscreen functioned great, was easy to see display , temp monitoring was maybe a little off but actually let off an audible warning when thermals of a component got high. Overall, for a appearance, and functionality I think this is a good value and great item

Absolutely brilliant product. The cables are well labeled, install was a breeze. You do need 2 open bays for this fan controller so keep that in mind. Shows me all 4 fans in my system on the fly, and temps for my CPU, VGA, HDD, and System. Easy install, didn't take long at all and so far I couldn't be happier. I was also VERY impressed they gave me extra probes and fan cables should any fail. Very very nice touch on Aerocool's part!A LOT of people have mentioned that it's hard to see when it's eye level. It has to be literally eye level directly in front of you to wash out, mine is nearly eye level and just off to the side a little and I can see it just fine. So, don't worry too much about that.The one knock I do have is the temp probe stickers. Maybe it was just a bad run or what, but they just don't seem to stick that well. I did end up getting them on but had to use 6 of them to stick 3 different probes. (my fourth probe is open in the middle of the case).

This item was purchased for a very expensive custom gaming computer. I'm always afraid when someone asks for something like this (it's the first thing to catch your eye when looking at a $6000.00 computer) that it will malfunction, show inaccurate readings or just not give a reading at all and thus put into question everything about the quality of such an expensive unit. Imagine what people would think if the hood ornament on a Rolls Royce was put on crooked or fell over every time the car went over 40 mph. Anyway, I am happy to say that this hood ornament worked as advertised. Now I just wish it didn't have all those annoying and unsightly little wires that have to be snaked around the back of the case in a vain effort to keep them from showing. I guess I'm the only builder who hates the look of front panel single wires.

Still waiting but I've had this before built in to my PC and it was nice to have but my water bottle hit the screen and it broke but it was only 40 bucks so I got the same I needed one that could do 4+ fans off the 4 cable mounts and I have to use spliters off the mail 4 because I have 6 fans but one doesn't need to use because I have it on autoI'll update if anything is different about this one it's coming on Monday

Bought it in July of 2020. The ability to adjust fan speed stopped working in early 2021 which didn't matter as I had them set for the speed I wanted. As of 1-1-2022, the unit stopped power to all fans and I cannot fix it. As of right now only the temp gauge works.

LCD screen. You can only see it if your directly in front and above so dont get it of your desktop is on your desk. Also the buttons are so loud. Everytime you hit a button it makes a huge beeping sound. No way to turn it off. Not good if you're trying to be quite. As loud as a microwave beep. If you live in an apartment your neighbors might will hear it most likely if you live in an Old building.

Got this controller, and was disappointed that the 4 sensors were way to short, the display looked nice as long as you look strait at it, and the one I got wouldn't see fan one or let me adjust the fan speed, also on the sensors it says CPU GPU etc instead of fan 1,2,3,4 like the NZXT one does, so I reordered another NZXT 5 fan for my new custom I am building for my wife

For some reason no matter there I place the gpu sensor it reads between 131 to 135 Fahrenheit and the alarm sounds at 135 even when I pulled it completely out of the case. MB temp matches all other sensors.

The Aerocool V12XT is a great fan controller, if your computer sits on the floor. It is designed to be best viewed from a top down angle. It does what it says it will do but it is not as granular in it's operation as the Nzxt Sentry 2. There are other fan controllers in this price range that come with USB ports. Some even have USB3.0 but what I Like about this is the graphics. It does look quite nice in my Thermaltake Core X9.

This has the best looking display compared to other fan controllers. The interface is sensitive, making it easy to work with. The lock feature is great so that it can't accidentally be tampered with. It is meant to be viewed from a top-down angle, otherwise the display is more difficult to read, but still looks nice from afar (my PC is across the room from where I use it). I purchased this just for the look, and it is overall a great complement to my tower.

The media could not be loaded.  外付け目的だったので、古い機種のようですが、ビジュアルや操作性を考慮し、本商品を選択しました。操作は、少々、悩みましたが、数あるファンコンの中で、ビジュアル的には最高だと思います。発熱が不安だったので、本商品にもファンを付けてみましたが発熱もなく、タッチペンでも操作できています。２ｐｉｎのファンでは操作できず、本商品は３ｐｉｎまでのコネクターしかなく、手持ち４ｐｉｎの延長ケーブルが合わないとゆうトラブルもあり、１コづつのチャンネルを分配し、８コのファンを接続し、動作確認を行いましたが、電圧不足になる事もなく、正常に動作しているようです。操作方法① 接続しているファンのチャンネルをタッチ② カギのアイコンをタッチする事により、ロックが解除されます③ 回転数をタッチ④ ＋－をタッチミドルタイプのデスクトップＰＣに接続しているので、埋め込む事ができず、外付けにしていますが、ビジュアル的には最高だと思います。

先の方で配送が遅いとおっしゃっている方がいらっしゃいますが自分も注文から配送まで一ヶ月かかりました。おそらく在庫状況によって大幅に変動すると思われます。一個とかだと遅くなるでしょう。この間にファンのうるささに慣れて何か買った意味あったのかなとか思ってしまいました。で、本品についてです。チャンネル数はFAN、温度ともに4。温度は摂氏、華氏変更可能です。画面にはそれぞれ1チャンネルずつ表示されます。変更するには下の黄色又は青ボタンを押します。見た目はタコメータみたいで格好はよく出来てます。ただし半円状の部分はタッチできないのでご注意を。ここをタッチしながらスライドさせて回転数変更できるのでは、と思われた方も多いのではないでしょうか。具体的な回転数変更法ですが、1,まず変更したいファンを下の黄色ボタンで選択2,左のメータの下の赤いロックボタンを押してロック解除3,そのすぐ下の回転数が表示されている数字をタッチ4,数字が点滅するので下の赤い±ボタンで数値変更、終わったら再度数字をタッチと言った感じです。何故一々こんなこと書くかというとマニュアルは8、9ヶ国語で書かれていますが日本語がありません。英語など外国語が読めれば問題無いですが。動画等上がっているのでそちらを見て頂いてもいいかと。またCPUクーラーに繋ぐ場合、ファンコンからのコネクタにはクーラーのコネクタに繋ぐものとマザボに挿す補助コネクタがあるのですが、LEDライト付きのCPUクーラーだと一部のLEDがつかなかったり点滅したりということが起きました。あと他の方が仰るとおり画面は真正面からだと少し暗く、見えにくくなります。ファンコンとしての性能は中堅層ってとこですが見た目重視の方にとっては悪く無いと思います。

I paired this with three brand new identical fans, hooked them up and two of the fans I could adjust the speed with this and one I couldn't. Trying different fans and some of the RPM's were not even detected. One of the fans just pulsed between slow and fast in a sine wave pattern with no ability to control. Overall it kind of, sorta does something but I must admit it looks good while doing it.
